Stayed here on a visit with friends in Colorado Springs. Fairly inexpensive. Interesting situation where it is partly a hotel, partly a condominium/apartment complex, primarily attracting retired and senior citizens. It also houses a number of businesses that occupy the lower floor and the penthouse.
Room was dated, but clean for the most part. Towels were quite harsh and worn. TV is attached to a cable converter, but the remote only changes channels, no on-off or volume control. Hot water was plentiful for shower and washing. Bed was fairly comfortable. Small table and chair, coffee maker. Some pieces of the furniture were missing trim.
Was given vouchers for breakfast (due to the fact that the ad for the place still lists free breakfast but that is not true). Restaurant is a throwback to the '60's and there were few people using it.
Staff there and at the front desk were very friendly and helpful (5 stars there) but the hotel portion of the place needs a major facelift.
Looking for a cheap place to stay, but don't care about looks, then this might be the place for you.
