Located just off Highway 25 this older Hilton hotel is badly in need of updating. My wife and I stayed on the third floor of this three story complex. Adequate parking surrounds this rectangle type complex. Our room had two rooms and a kitchen. The furnishings were dated and appeared clean, however, you are left with that feeling of "dirty". Pets are allowed at the hotel. If you suffer from allergies you might want to check first with the hotel if they offer "pet free" rooms. The kitchen was equipped with a full size refrigerator, two element electric stove, microwave, built in dish washer and cooking and eating utensils. Nice sized TV's were located in each room. In the center of the complex is an outdoor swimming pool. Inside is a fitness center. The staff if friendly and helpful. A buffet type breakfast is offered every morning in a very busy eating area. The breakfast items served are what you would expect and nothing fancy or original. The hotel is located in a good location just off Highway 25 and near the Air Force Academy. A nice shopping center with various stores and restaurants is within walking distance of the hotel. If you want a supermarket it is about a one mile drive from the hotel. A short drive on Highway 25 will lead you to special sightseeing activities eg., "Garden of the Gods", Pikes Peak, Old Colorado etc. If my wife and I were to return to the area we would probably stay at another hotel in the general area.

Room Tip: Ask for a room located near the front of the complex.

Comfortable, clean, friendly and a pleasure to stay at. I found the staff to be efficient and always helpful. The room was clean, spacious and pleasant. I will definitely stay here again in the future. This is the third time I have stayed there.

Hotel is close to US 25 which will get you to Colorado Springs or North to Denver very easily. The breakfast was plentiful and there were many different items both hot and cold. Every morning were offerings of oatmeal, make your own waffle, cereal , raisin toast and danishes, 2 hot dishes which varied from scrambled eggs to biscuits and gravy and a selection of coffees and teas. Be sure to be there at least 30 minutes before the end of the breakfast time as they do start shutting down a few minutes before the scheduled end of service. We had the King Bedroom suite and it was nice as there are doors to close off the bedroom area so others could stay up if they wanted. We did not use the fold out sofa bed but if we needed to there was plenty of floor space. Room is equipped with a full refrigerator w/ice maker , microwave , dishwasher and plenty of dishes, glasses and cups. The front loading washer/dryer units are only $1 each and the laundry soap from the little store downstairs was only $1. We spent 1 week and with all the amenities it was a very comfortable vacation.

In short, the sofa bed was so bad that we ended up sleeping on the floor. The laundry room had a washer inoperable during parents' weekend for USAFA! Food for breakfast kept on running out if you didn't arrive on time. Check your billing. We were charged $100 more than our quote. We had it fixed at check-out but desk clerk was rude. Housekeeping was the best. She kept the room very clean. Sleep quality was horrible due to the bed situation. Location is okay for our purpose.

My family stayed at this hotel in June 2013 and loved it. The views of the mountains from outside of the hotel were breathtaking. The rooms are spacious, come with a fully stocked kitchen and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. They offer a complimentary breakfast every morning and a dinner meal Monday through Thursday evenings, including beer, wines and alcohol free beverages.

Nice gym with nice expensive elliptical trainer. All machines had an attached television.
The hotel gym also had free weights, bench, cold water, towels and huge mirror.
Nice long clean pool. Breakfast was good with sausage and eggs. Entrees changed each day.
Internet was free and worked well "after logging in." Nice desk with high back roll around chair.
Office area over looked the entire room. Great big bathroom!

Stayed two days with four kids but could have easily stayed all week. Neat setup!
Nice convenience store in lobby stocked withe just about everything you would need.
The hotel is conveniently located across the street from "Focus on the Family."
Hotel is only a few miles from "Manitou Springs and The Manitou Incline" which are both great area attractions! D
