We stayed one night at this hotel while passing through Colorado Springs. It's exactly what you would expect from a Hilton Garden Inn - very clean rooms, friendly staff. I liked that it was close to the Air Force Academy and while going in/out of the hotel I could watch the planes flying over the academy and people parachuting. The only thing that could have made the stay better was a free continental breakfast, however we knew there would not be one when we made the reservation.

I wanted to let you know that if you are ever looking for a rate that includes our full Cooked to Order Breakfast, we offer a Bed and Breakfast package which offers breakfast for 50% off for each adult and kids under 12 staying in the room eat free. It becomes an excellent value.

We certainly hope to have you as our guest again!

I was here last year and this hotel just gets better. Good location with a great place to eat in house. The staff is great, helpful, friendly always there for you. Pool, hot tub, gym all great. In house bar too, I love the rooms. They are well done, clean with all the things I need. Fast, free internet, comfortable beds, lots of room, good TV,s excellent quiet A/C and did I say clean nice place to stay. Manager Stacy was really great, what a personality, along with Jodie from the front desk. Great fresh cookies everynight at 5PM. Then Mark and Dianna cooked great food for us with Joan & Diana serving the foods. Try the hamberger with onion rings. Stacy makes great DIRTY MARTINIS, beg her to make you one as it was the best.

Room Tip: All good, no freeway noise anywhere close, can't go wrong with this hotel.

This Garden Inn is in a great location for the Colorado Springs area, right over the road from the Air Force Academy. You can walk to a large variety of restaurants just across the road: Starbucks, Asian, steak house, Panera, Italian etc.The highway is one minute away for access to Co. Springs and to Denver (one hour away).
The hotel itself is really clean..painted in green...very green! The staff is excellent.I was welcomed immediately I walked in, recognized for my Hilton status without asking and upgraded to a nice room. The staff is very, very pleasant and friendly except, interestingly enough, Anwar, the manager, who I met at 5.30 a.m. as I was checking out. His staff could teach him some personality skills!
The rooms are very clean and well looked after. Plenty of pillows from firm to soft, duvet on the bed, clean well equipped bathrooms and a feeling of space.
The only downside to the hotel is that the construction seems flimsy. It's obviously safe! but the walls and floors are thin. I was woken at 2 a.m. by a family that arrived, at that time, next door. I could hear everything they were saying and it was hard to sleep. Also get a top floor otherwise you will hear people walking above you as well.
The windows open a little which I always like but the highway noise in the front made that impossible for me. So if you like your window open at night with quiet choose a room facing the back. If you don't need that and want a view of the mountains take a room facing the front of the hotel.
I didn't get to have breakfast here so I can't comment on that.
Apart from the thin walls and floors this is a good place to stay

Room Tip: Front of hotel for view, back of hotel for quiet

We had 2 rooms here for 3 nights each. We were in town for a wedding, so there was much planning and gathering in the common areas of the hotel and our rooms. Consequently, we spent more time in the hotel than I normally would on a trip.

The room (king bed) was large and had all the expected amenities. The TV was large and HD -- the Olympics started while we were there so the quality was nice. One nice surprise were the power outlets everywhere. Every lamp had at least one built into the base and there were extra outlets on the walls. Considering wifey and I had phone chargers, Kindle chargers and laptop adapters there were cords running all over the place. It seems trivial, but if you ever had to crawl around and unplug things to find a spare outlet...

The lobby was big and had several seating areas (one with a big TV). Free coffee and tea all day. We did much family gathering over the four days and spent a lot of time hanging out in the lobby. There was plenty of space.

There was a restaurant in the lobby (no free breakfast at this HGI). The breakfast was buffet style, with a cook making numerous egg/pancake dishes on request. The hot food buffet was $10ish per person.

The view from the parking lot/restaurant/lobby of Pike's Peek is fantastic.

Absolutely nothing special. Perhaps even more on the 'plastic' side for a Hilton Garden Inn.
Extremely convenient to I-25, on the Northern part of Colorado Springs. Very clean. Building of this property must be prefabricated or something. You literally feel the floor when somebody passes from the hallway. Yet good price, nice Garden In pantry, laundry, free parking, free wifi, Friendly and efficient check-in and check out staff, in the middle of the night or in the middle of busy day. Special recognition to breakfast staff. No espresso or not so many organic choices but, extremely friendly, efficient staff. Across ffrom the street is Starbucks and other food choices.

We stayed at this hotel for one night on our CO vacation. The location is great and close to shopping and restaurants. Also convenient to the Air Force Academy campus. We arrived early and our room was not ready. The staff took our cellphone number to call us when it was ready but they did not call. Our room was on the first floor, close to the side door and laundry area. Helped us for easy in/easy out access. The room was faced the back parking lot which was very quiet. The cookies were good as was the morning coffee. The pool was clean and we enjoyed swimming in the morning before we left. The pool staffer was very nice and helpful. We saw him that Saturday morning when he was checking the pool.

Room Tip: If you have difficulty walking, you may want to ask for a room on the lower level, close to the side...
