Owner description: Starr Kempf Sculpture Garden - private property and not a business open to public

Mr. Kempf's art is truly, literally awesome. The slightest breeze can set the gigantic wind sculptures into motion. We always take out-of-town guests to see these unique pieces and quite often find ourselves stopping for a few minutes of quiet meditation in their shadows. I am a terrible judge of heights but would guess they are around 20-30' tall, if not taller.

May your soul rest in peace, Mr. Kempf, and thank you.

Breathtaking sculptures that move in the wind. Even though some are lying on the ground it its well worth a stop to enjoy. Be courteous to neighbors as it is residential area. You can't walk around the garden as it is a private residence. No problem, looking through and over the gate. The sculptures soar high in the air.

These aluminum painted mobile sculptures are huge, dramatic, and beautiful. It's a pity they can't be distributed about the community, or placed in a more public location where they can be viewed without annoying the neighbors. As it is, at least two of them are down on the ground, and I don't think they are carefully maintained, now that the artist is gone.

Just an amazing feat of art coupled with engineering. I am always amazed as these huge structures catch the wind and dance away. To see works of art move in the wind will just keep you awe struck. They are in the front yard of Starr Kempf's former home in a residential area. Nice quick stop, then go enjoy the hiking trails, Helen Hunt Falls, Cheyenne Canyon or the Broadmoor.

A bunch of metal sculptures in the yard of a residential home. It's kind of whimsical and fun. It's not what I'd call a must see, but if you're in the area, it's worth driving by.
