My wife and I stayed at the Clarion on July 12. Beginning with the reservation attendant I could tell this was an establishment where all the personnel attending to our needs were genuine, sincere and motivated to make your stay a pleasure. Upon check-in, for some reason I was upgraded to the 'manager's suite'. This was totally unexpected and a distinct pleasure. There was no traffic noise, the bed was a comfort, the temperature just right and the amenities far beyond what we had asked for. The manager, Mr. Taves Maciel, suggested the Blue Star restaurant for its great food and drinks. We were not disappointed and it was fairly close by. We had a substantial breakfast in the morning and true to form, all the help there were as pleasant and professional in their service. I personally thank Mr. Maciel for his leadership and encouraging all of his workers to such a high standard of service. In today's world one rarely encounters a total staff who keeps the visitor's perspective foremost in their service. We intend to make our next stay and hopefully many more at the Clarion.

Room Tip: Trust the receptionist.

Excellent location! The hotel is older but still in well maintained condition. Check in was fast and painless. The upgrade was awesome thank you to the manager! Breakfast was good standard fare. the advertising says a bar is on the premises however you will be dissapionted. Other than that we had an overall good stay. I would recommended. This place

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds. Room was not bad but the bathroom was very small with just one vanity. It did not have enough room to even put your shaving stuff and tooth brushes. When a customer books a room with two queen beds, bathroom needs to have two sinks bigger vanity and also enough shampoo and conditioner for 4 people. I would not stay in this one again.

Room Tip: Bathroom was too small with just one sink for four people.

After being forced to evacuate our original hotel due to the wildfires last week, we found rooms at this Clarion. We were completely amazed and more than satisfied with everything the hotel offered, including giving us a generous price break due to the evacuation situation. We found the rooms to be great, the manager's reception was good, and the free hot breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The staff took great care to ensure our happiness, and even allowed us a late checkout on our final day.
Thank you, Taves and your Clarion Staff. We would stay here again.
