“Excellent location, quiet and great views!”
Reviewed September 17, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Quaint little place out of the way yet close to attractions. Ann and Chuck were a pleasure to meet. Everything was very clean and ready for our stay. This was a great alternative to staying at a hotel in the bigger city.

“Wonderful mountain getaway”
Reviewed September 16, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

This guest house was the perfect quiet home base for our trip to Colorado Springs. Ann was lovely to book with and made check in and check out very easy. The guest house was very clean and felt like home and the amenities were excellent. It had everything we needed from delicious coffees and teas and water bottles to a cooler for a picnic or day trip. The mountain view was so pretty and it was nice to sit outside on the private patio to enjoy the crisp cool air. We would absolutely choose to stay here again and would recommend the Sanctuary of the Rose to family and friends.

A Nice quite relaxing guesthouse for two. Ann was great to work with, she made sure everything was perfect.. She even sent us home with a couple fresh peaches. The location is great and it is a perfect place to relax..we will definitely be back.

“Peaceful and cozy with all the small details you don't find elsewhere!”
Reviewed July 31, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Thank you Ann for sharing your cute, cozy sanctuary with me. It was exactly what I needed. The labyrinth and our walk with the deer (!) helped me make the decision that this is where I want to be! The Sanctuary is so cute, loved all the small details, from the special toiletries (love lavender!) to all the thoughtful pantry items. I appreciated the last minute accommodation for my son at the last minute. He was quite comfortable on the sleeper sofa after 4 days of camping in a tent! Ann went above and beyond to help in finding me a rental unit for the winter and now will have a special friend here in Colorado.

“Sanctuary of the Rose”
Reviewed July 29, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

My husband and I stayed at The Sanctuary of the Rose for 4 nights. We would've stayed longer, but they were already booked! It's such a lovely guest house - very quiet and peaceful - perfect escape from the city, and plenty of room for the two of us. We loved all the special touches and attention to detail. The Bensons were wonderful hosts - available for anything we needed! We really enjoyed drinking coffee on the front porch every morning in the mountain air. Even saw a deer in the front yard one morning. The area is lovely. We definitely recommend The Sanctuary of the Rose if you're looking for lovely, peaceful lodging.

“Totally Awesome!!”
Reviewed May 23, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Pictures do not do Sanctuary of The Rose justice, this place is wonderful!
Plus we had snow while there which was a added bonus!!
Though the outside temps were cold for a couple days we didnt notice inside, the gas fireplace kept the house warm and cozy.
Close to Manatu Springs, Old Colorado City, Cripple Creek, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and Colorado Springs.
