“Mediocre Food, Raw Rice!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2014

We were visiting Colorado Springs from out-of-town, and decided we'd try Jose Muldoon's. The restaurant itself has a very inviting atmosphere, and we were looking forward to a good meal. I ordered the chicken enchilada and my husband ordered a chimichanga plate. The food was rather bland - nothing outstanding about it. Then my husband took a bite of rice and it crunched! There was raw rice mixed into the cooked rice! I'm sure this isn't normal, and there might have been some accidental spilling of rice in the kitchen, but it ruined the rest of a not-so-exciting meal. My husband broke a tooth. We quickly asked for the bill and left to deal with the tooth. So for future Colorado Springs trips, Jose Muldoon's has been crossed off our list!

“Good Mexican Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 9, 2014

We went here on a Saturday night. It was pretty busy. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table for 5 adults and 2 children. It was a cold rainy day, yes rain, not snow and we had to wait in room that had a cold draft every time someone opened the door. It took a long time to get our food,(like I said it was busy). But when the food did arrive it was very good.

This was better than I expected good service and food. Went at lunch time but did not have the feel of the downtown bar scene which was nice

“Delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2014

If you're in the mood for a delicious Mexican meal, this is an excellent choice. Great food & service. Margaritas were awesome, too! Both dining room & bar seating available.

“Two Locations...Consistently Good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 8, 2013

Jose Muldoon's is a consistently good restaurant with attentive service. Today, my wife and I went to the S. Carefree, Colorado Springs location for lunch. We both had grilled whitefish soft tacos and they were excellent. In the past, we greatly enjoyed their Margaritas...a little early today so we reluctantly had soft drinks. We will dine here again soon in Colorado Springs and perhaps try the downtown location on Tejon. When I lived in Colorado Springs this was one of my favorites.
