“So glad they came to Colorado!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

We loved Rudy's when we lived in San Antonio, and there is no difference in taste, quality of bbq and sides here in Colorado Springs! Perfect location for those coming down from an active day in the mountains. Love their spicy bbq sauce and the sissy sauce isn't bad either! Heaping piles of meat when you order the sandwich and all the condiments you need at the condiment bar. Love it!!

“Very Average -- You Can Do Better in COS”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

The local Rudy's is surviving on it's reputation from our many transplants who must have had better BBQ at one or more of their other locations. The "picnic" atmosphere is okay, but their food is nothing special. They are definitely overpriced for the quality of their offerings, and there are several better BBQ joints in the area.

“Good food, not comfortable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

Wait in line, eat off butcher paper....do yourself a favor and go local at Front Range BBQ instead. I did like the food but will not be back.

“Cattle Call at its finest”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014 via mobile

If you like to stand in line, and wait like cattle for you chance at over priced food that's just ok. Then enjoy it on a paper towel - no plates, at a picnic table .... Well then this is your restaurant.
It's your standard buffet restaurant - that you pay for by the pound and item. Expense and just ok.

“Great BBQ - no atmosphere but who cares?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2014

Rudy;s is the kind of place where the food is paramount to anything else; and it does deliver on that premise. A cafeteria style order line with just basics you would expect in a BBQ joint. You eat and picnic benches and the related atmosphere is meant to be that way. The beers and pop are bottled. BBQ - fast, delicious, plentiful and very inexpensive - this is your place.
