“Gorgeous cabins, fair price!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

We stayed in the wilderness cabin for 4 days and it was amazing! Full amenities in the cabin. Secluded and private, great location. Friendly people at the store and just a great camp in general. Quick drive into co springs. Gorgeous and breath taking views all around the camp. Very dog friendly! Can't wait to stay there again!!

Nice clean place just south of town. Quiet except for the fort nearby practicing at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ample supply of activites and amenities for when returned from our adventures each evening.

If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to do it! Beautiful area, large sites, well kept. The staff was friendly and go above and beyond to help out their guests. David, Abby, Cecil, Darren, Keith became like a second family to my mom and I during our 2 1/2 month stay. They truly are the best! We saw deer every morning and evening roaming around the RV's and cabins. The hummingbirds would fly right up to you as if to say good morning. If you have AT&T and can't get phone service, they have a phone in their computer room and in their lounge area for you to use anytime. The laundry room and bathroom/showers are nice and clean. There is also a playground for the kiddo's! This is definitely where we will stay when visiting the area. There's no place like it!

Nicely kept grounds. Wildlife roam freely. If you have AT&T forget about ever getting a signal there. Makes it tough to get in touch if you are visiting family in the area (which we were). If you want to be "off the grid" this would be the place! They have a large lounge area by the office to get together in a group and eat or visit.

Perfect place for a nice quiet retreat. Staff was professional yet personal. The campground was beautiful and filled with amazing wildlife. The Getaway cabin could not have been any better for the two of us, it is a very clean and well maintained cabin.

We were moving to Colorado Springs and thought a cabin would be a good idea. Mountain Dale was beautiful and the staff was wonderful. Every morning we were greeted by a half a dozen deer outside our cabin. We dealt mostly with David who never missed an opportunity to go above and beyond for me and my family. I would go back and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

A couple of my friends at school and I came here for spring break. We stayed in The Getaway Cabin for four nights at the end of March. It had everything we could need in a little cabin. The resort was beautifully maintained and although there were many RVs around it still seamed very secluded.

We did some hiking while there and we were located about 45 minutes from the beaver creek loop which is a difficult 7 mile day hike. We also visited The Garden of The Gods which was also about 45 minutes away.

Overall the trip was great. The campsite was beautiful, the staff was friendly and we were within an hour of anywhere we wanted to go. The price was great as well. As college students, this was the cheapest spring break we have been on yet.
