We were looking for a good, casual place for our first night visiting CO Springs. After checking reviews (both good and bad) we decided to try Paravicini's. I was hesitant about Italian because I have to eat gluten-free (I get sick). I asked about it when we walked in, and the manager showed me the "GF" notations on their menu, including a "gluten-free-friendly" section (there is a sort of disclaimer on the menu that there is still gluten on the premises, so, while there may be no gluten ingredients in a dish, they cannot guarantee zero cross contamination--however, I didn't get sick, so it was all good!). I had Salmon Francesco (salmon with lemon-butter sauce, artichoke hearts, and capers over risotto) and my husband had Steak Gorgonzola, with spinach, portabellas, and melted Gorgonzola. Both were fantastic. He says he's going to dream about this meal, one of his best in a long time. Our picky teenager enjoyed her ravioli, and they both loved the bread, delivered from a local bakery. Service was friendly and efficient (although they were definitely busy), and the manager stopped by to check in with us (he was pleasant--maybe he's newer than the one with the bad reviews?). With 3 entrees (salad included), a generous vodka martini, two glasses of daily special wine, two espressos, and dessert, the bill came to ~$100, which we thought very fair for the portion sizes and quality (but then, we're from Chicago, so our "reasonable" might not be the same as yours ;) ).

Went to this restaurant because of its rating on TA - and it has become one of the real banners for how accurate TA is. But on to this amazing place...

Made a reservation (a must) - Went here for our anniversary and were met with some of the best treatment we've ever had in a restaurant. A stellar host, who was friendly and efficient. Our table was great and gave us a perfect view of the entire restaurant. What ambiance this place has! Our server, Kathryn, was a top-10 best ever server for us. She was friendly, funny, knew the menu, and never let us want for anything. The starter was great - we had the Burrata Cheese. Great salad and home-made bread. Our mains were equally up to the task (Veal, and my wife had tortellini) - I could spend weeks talking about their risotto!
The dessert (Tiramisu) was also top notch.

Overall, we had a wonderful evening at Paravicini's. The food, ambiance, service, and overall experience were second to none. We left full of heart and of stomach, ha ha. We will go out of our way to dine here as often as we can.

Went here on vacation in area. Prices are kinda high but not outrageous. Caesar salad was a $2 up charge. Not worth it at all. Salads disappointing. Fresh bread and entrees were fine. No room for dessert we were so full. Located in a funky, hip part of town. Don't sit on patio. Road noise is pretty bad. Waiter was friendly and helpful to us as tourists.

Read positive reviews - then made reservation. Upon arrival, basically ignored by manager at computer after giving our name. Hostess came to front, checked with him and was told where to seat us - poor, very busy area. We declined and selected alternate table. Ordered featured premium wine - waiter returned saying they were out. Ordered house red - mediocre at best. Bread served - hard and cold. Ordered dinner with Caesar salad (plus $2 each over house Italian and full of white romaine core??). Dinner - are you ready? Veal parm overlooked and tough. Not enough red sauce and very acidic. Chicken piccata had wing tendons - not very appetizing. Long story short, enter at your own risk!

A great place to take your special someone for Italian cuisine and a glass of wine. The wine menu has outstanding choices to pair with a variety of dining choices.
