This was a return trip for us...this time with friends. Absolutely amazing!...from the warm greeting at the door by who I presume was the owner, to our attentive server, ...and not to mention Alisha the Belly Dancer! We started with the Tapas platter; a delicious unique sampler! I had the Porcini Ribeye, my husband had the Pomegranate Ribs, and our guests had Moussaka and Chicken with Honey and Almonds. ALL of it was a feast for eyes and bellies! No other restaurant compares.

Has been closed every time we went there, except once... The food and wine were very good, decor is old and outdated as of 2010.

My husband and I so enjoy the gyro platter at the Caspian that we have a hard time straying and trying other items on the menu! The portion is plentiful and often we take home leftovers which is our next day lunch. It's a well presented assortment of sliced beef & lamb spit roasted, toasted pita, buttered rice, feta cheese, olives, onions and tomatoes. Cost is $15.95 per person. You can head there for lunch and have a gyro sandwich which is very similar and less expensive, $8.95. However, sometimes you just want to treat yourself to a very nice dinner and the gyro platter brings you back! We go earlier in the evening to avoid the belly dancing, that's our preference, others may really like that touch.

Wonderfully authentic! Great diverse menu from many countries. Service was outstanding, atmosphere warm and intimate and food was plentiful and excellent! We even received hugs and a kiss on the cheek from the owner on our way out!

I was a little wary of this place due to its location right off the interstate, but once I was inside I was not disappointed. The food is amazing and the service is outstanding. A definite must go in Colorado Springs!
