Although the property is older we found our room to be very nice with hardwood floor and area rug. The beds were comfortable which for us is the main thing since we don't spend a whole lot of time in the room. An added bonus was the small fridge and microwave. The bathroom was small but adequate with hot water in the shower every time. The only reason for the 4 stars was the spotty wifi connection especially during the times when more people were in their rooms. We would stay there again.

Had a little issue with booking that wasn't their fault. They were very accommodating and helpful. We booked a two bedroom non-kitchen suite. The rooms were freshly painted and although the buildings are quite obviously older, they seemed nicely updated. Our room was 104. It is at the end with the pool right out the back door. The kids were very happy to have their own room with 2 queen beds. There were a couple of things that a person could nit pick over but I'm not picky. However, one of the things that would have been nice is an air conditioner in the "master" bedroom. We did open the window and the temp was just fine after the sun went down and it cooled off some. The master does have a ceiling fan which made it much more tolerable. The pool is small but does go to 9 feet in depth which was surprising. The "continental" breakfast is very simple fair. Fruit, cereal, muffins and oatmeal. There was juice and coffee to drink. We did take advantage of the gas grill that was outside our room to enjoy a meal. However, with this room you need to supply your own utensils (I used a plastic fork and paper plates! HA!)
Based on location, room amenities, and the family run business that this hotel has to offer, I'd definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at the Rainbow Lodge and Inn. The owner was very nice and the place was well kept. Nice little breakfast in the morning and the location is perfect. Don't be put off by the fact that it's a small place. The beds are comfortable enough and you get what you pay for and even more.

Our family stayed for two nights. The room was large and comfortable. It was furnished with vintage furniture. The area seemed safe and the kids enjoyed the pool. There were some areas that needed repair, but for the price it was a pleasant stay.

Lovely place to stay. Older motel, clean, quiet, safe. The owners were very helpful with resturant choices. Very simple continental breakfast. Only one thing, wish I could've made a slice of toast. Will stay here again.
