It's quiet, spotless, well-run, right where I want to stay and it has the best views of any hotel in Colorado Springs--every room I have ever stayed in looks right at Garden of the Gods. The rooms are large, well-configured and very private. It is very, very quiet and the clientele is low-key. For the quality it is extremely inexpensive.

Room Tip: It's not expensive, so pay up a bit to get a giant room. Many suites have large living rooms wi...

I've been in Colorado Springs for over 40 years and i've never seen a more perfect view of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods than from this particular vantage point. That was the highlight of our stay. Next was the spaciousness of our room and its amenities.....gas fireplace, 7 pillows on the bed, walk-in closet, 2 separate sink areas. The downside of the room was the tub & shower area. Tile and grout looked old and dull and the water valve was difficult to adjust to get the right temperature. Dining and bar areas also offered exceptional view. Meals were ample but the huevos rancheros was not the best menu choice.

We love the title of your review, as we agree! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate your feedback and are glad that you enjoyed your stay overall. It's a bit surprising that you didn't care for the huevos rancheros, as this is actually one of the most popular items on our breakfast menu. Once again, thanks for your review, and happy travels!

The stunning panoramic view alone, makes the short drive from Denver worth trip. The staff went out of their way to make the weekend memorable and to make sure everything was perfect.. All of the rooms look out over Garden of the Gods park and Pikes Peak. The food, drinks, and hospitality were simply outstanding!

This was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Staff was extraordinary in not only acting like they cared about customer satisfaction...it was standard and customary to ask if we were pleased with the quantity and qualit of the food, personal services provided by various staff members from the Lodge to the dining room, bar and even the golf club pro shop. No recommendations for improvements. The stay was simply that outstanding.

Room Tip: Bring several cameras.

This wonderful 'Club' is not open for the public! It sits directly above the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center with a majestic view of the Garden of the Gods park with Pike's Peak in the background....it is absolutely stunning. Other than the sunglare towards evening, you can sit outside and view the deer, rabbits and other creatures who come up to drink from the pond. The lounge menu is good, perhaps a bit pricey, but the place is 1st class! There is a dress, code, especially in the dining room, but was able to where nice jeans, offseason, in the lounge after 6pm. They have a small saltwater pool overlooking the park (adults only in summer, I was told), and great spa, with jacuzzi and steam room. GREAT place for a wedding or formal affair with plenty of rooms....ALL overlooking the park and Pike's Peak with balconies. I got the special Travelzoo deal for $99.00 (which ends up being about $124.00 with tax and fee), but this included 2 drinks, appetizer, and 2 breakfasts....HECK of a deal. I would gladly pay more...
They have tennis courts as well. Just a fabulous place to stay, for 1 night, or may it a personal holiday and stay longer!! I WILL go back again!

Room Tip: I had room 226, which was in the furthest buildings, but it was very large and had a huge balcony...

There were a lot of positives about this hotel. The view was incredible. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a lot of closet space and a dual vanity. However, if you want to sleep and you're on the first floor, forget it if the person above you wants to stay up until 1:00 am. You can hear everything through the floor. It must be an old structure or not built well. I only slept a few hours two nights that we were there because of the noise. The first night I tried to call the front desk, but no one answered. After three tries, my husband had to walk up to the front desk and tell them about the noise. It didn't stop even after we complained. I think the noise was due to the failure of the structure of the hotel and not so much the people above us. Also, do not book room 102 if you want a really great view. We could see the mountains, but we had to go outside and look around the corner of the room next to us to see the red rocks of Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. The furniture and carpet seemed a little dated, but it didn't feel unclean at all, and I'm very picky about cleanliness. The fireplace was also nice, and the hotel was conveniently located to everything we wanted to see and do in Colorado Springs. We didn't visit the spa or eat at the hotel.

Room Tip: Room 102's view of Pikes Peak is blocked by room 103 on the first floor.

Thanks for your feedback. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay overall and the close proximity of our Lodge to local attractions. Since guest rooms were built several decades ago with hearty construction techniques, noise complaints from guests are actually fairly rare here, with many guests actually raving about the quiet, tranquil nature of our resort. We truly apologize that sound from the room above you affected your sleep quality. Once again, we appreciate your review and wish you the best, wherever your future travels may take you.

We enjoyed a clean and spacious south patio room in the middle of April while visiting Colorado Springs to enjoy some outdoor activities. Our room faced the Garden of the Gods rock park and it was just breathtaking to wake every morning to such a spectacular view. The amenities were perfect for our stay...free wi-fi, mini fridge, bottled water, coffee maker in the room. The blocks of rooms are located separately off the main lodge so we drove to our room after check-in. We looked for a place like this to enjoy the most privacy. We would stay here again and recommend it.

Room Tip: Ask for a south patio room for the best views.
