We live about two hours north of the hotel and frequently come here for special occasions. The staff is always first rate, and I love the breakfast and the surroundings. A lot cheaper than the Broadmoor and a bit different experience, but I like the Garden of the Gods Club better. Last time we were there we got upgraded from the standard room the master suite just because of availability--and then they brought us chocolate covered strawberries and Brut. Wow!

Room Tip: All have balconies..don't worry

My daughter and I celebrated our birthdays here for the weekend. Service was exquisite, as was the room, the spa, the restaurants and views. It could not have been better! Our first choice was the Broadmoor but it was sold out - I hear our property had better views so glad I didn't spend double the amount at the Broadmoor ... Don't hesitate to stay here.. My daughter and I both had spa svcs and they were top knotch -

Room Tip: Balcony rooms have exceptional view.

We stayed here for a quick, weekend getaway. We were met by the manager, welcomed by him and each subsequent employee as if we were honored guests. Wow! We ate two dinners, two breakfasts and enjoyed excellent service, knowledgeable wine help, and fine food. Our room had a wonderful view of the rocks in Garden of the Gods (as do all rooms) and a tiny, private patio. comfortable bed, all linens were spotless and cushy. I definitely recommend this lodge even if you don't golf (we toured the natural attractions of the area). There are plenty of things to do.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Garden of the Gods Club in Colorado Springs, Co. The club is a full service country club with members living on property and offers a handful of accommodations for guests. The rooms have an apartment feel and are very spacious with an awesome view of the Garden of the Gods and Pike's Peak, right outside your window. The lodge and view were great but truly the best part of our stay there was a bartender/waitress named Susie. She is one of those rare employees that actually make guests feel that she genuinely cares, while also managing to be extremely helpful and fun! We actually cancelled reservations at the Broadmoor on our last night , instead choosing to sit at Susie's bar for one last night of laughs and fun! Garden of the Gods has a real gem in Susie Q. Bluette!! If you're visting the Garden of Gods Club be sure to visit the lounge/dining room and see Susie, you won't be disappointed and you'll probably end up with a new friend:)

We stayed here for a Thanksgiving getaway. We got a very good deal because the place was pretty empty. First of all, the view of the Garden of the Gods you see on the web site is what you see from your patio or balcony. We got there at night so we didn't see it until the next morning at 6am when the sun came up. WOW! what a view! Also we had mule deer and rabbits right by our patio! I have only one complaint about this great place.....please remind people about the $15/day service fee when they check in. We had forgotten about it until check out. Not a big deal, but maybe include it in the nightly rate. $15/day for Internet, newspaper and bottled water? Ummmm ok.

We enjoyed the heated pool too even though the outside temps were in the 50's and 60's!

Great pictures, and thanks for your review! We're delighted that you enjoyed the views, local wildlife, and heated infinity-edge pool. With regard to the $15 daily resort fee, it is mentioned up-front in our hotel booking engine as well as in the hotel confirmation email that each guest receives after making a reservation. Our front desk agents are also trained to mention the $15 daily resort fee as part of the check-in review, so I apologize that this item was apparently skipped with you. I will let our front desk manager know. Daily resort fees are commonly charged by hotels of our caliber and provide for amenities such as wireless Internet access, in-room bottled water, and daily newspaper delivery. Once again, we appreciate your review and hope that you have an opportunity to visit us again soon.
