This resort has excellent staff! The room was perfect! The view was beautiful! The food was great and it was very peaceful and quiet at night. I would tell everyone about this resort and would encourage them to stay for at least 3 nights. The view of Garden of the Gods was fantastic and the view of Pikes Peak was just breathtaking! This was my wifes first visit to Colorado Springs and she wants to go back and again stay at this resort. I give this resort and staff a perfect rating. You dont want to miss out on this resort! The resort fee includes access to golf course, tennis courts and spa and anything else related to the resort.

Room Tip: Any room is great! the views are perfect!

...everytime we looked out there those Kissing Camels were! We needed a quick break and found a great package with the Lodge at Garden of the Gods Club. Found the Club online but called the hotel to book. Ben was very pleasant, professional and helpful. The room was spacious, simple elegance yet with everything we needed including a dining table and chairs, sofa, office desk, fireplace. The bathroom area was huge with a vanity and drawers, cupboard for each of us, plus a refrigerator and coffee area. The closet was a separate area, with door, within this space. Again, the bathroom was within this general area but separated by a door. Sliding doors opened to the balcony overlooking the Kissing Camels with mountains beyond. Breakfast, included in the package, was excellent and plenty of choice and we were served very well by a delightful waitress. The spa area looked pretty top notch. One is required to pay a Club fee each day which for us was an unnecessary expense. We didn't intend to use the faciility at all but to justify being there we worked out briefly one morning! The whole was Perfect and Peaceful - just what we needed. We hope to revisit.

Room Tip: Ask for room on second floor with view of Kissing Camels!

Yes, that kissing camels rock formation does a great job setting the scene for a romantic stay, doesn't it? Thanks for your kind words about Ben; we agree that he is great with our guests and will make sure that he is recognized. (A fun fact about Ben is that he also serves as one of the assistant golf professionals at our golf course across the street.) We're thrilled that you found your guest room to be comfortable and that you enjoyed both your breakfast and the service you received. To clarify, Lodge guests have complete access to the amenities of our private club, such as the sports club, spa, pools, etc. The resort fee provides for daily newspaper delivery, in-room bottled water, valet parking, and wireless high-speed Internet. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We look forward to your next visit!

I had never stayed at the Lodge at Garden of the Gods in CO Springs - what a gorgeous place! Very serene, gorgeous view of the Garden directly in front of the Lodge with towering Pikes Peak behind.....our room was spacious with a couch, tables, chairs and very plush beds. The bathroom was a treat too! We had breakfast delivered to our room both mornings of our stay and the food was excellent! We arranged the table and chairs so we could see the wonderful view while enjoying the wall fireplace and large flatscreen above it! Could have stayed here a week and never left the grounds! The decks are covered with comfortable chairs and there is wildlife all around to watch. Parking is abundant and the Lodge itself is beautiful. There is a reflecting pool outside the main lobby and a very nice swimming pool too. One of the most serene and relaxing places I've ever stayed; the staff were all terrific!

Room Tip: Room 205 looks directly at the Garden and the Peak! A second floor room gives you more privacy and...

I planned a meeting at the Garden of the Gods club. Everyone was very helpful during planning and I didn't have to do anything except set up my projector when I was there. BEAUTIFUL location, felt more like a ritzy vacation rather than a work meeting. The food was delicious and the staff was always frendly and helpful. VERY close to Garden of the Gods--all rooms overlooked the park. Highly reccommend for business or a romatic get-away. Rooms were very large as well.

We used a Living Social deal for a little mid-week getaway. I'm thinking this is a best kept secret in Colorado. We had a HUGE, upgraded room as part of our deal. The walk-in closet could have been another bedroom! Even thought it was a bit drizzly the view is absolutely stunning from any room, lobby or restaurant. The view is so unique, truly breathtaking. The wet bar area was nice and so lovely to have wine glasses and an opener available. The fireplace was wonderful but again, who could take thier eyes off of the view??
I would easily have given this property 5 stars except for 2 tiny things. The decor was amusingly complete 80"s and the bed and pillows were a bit soft for my taste. Very minor.
So nice to have FREE wi-fi and convenient free parking.
Breakfast came with our deal and it was wonderful! I would easily go back just for the breakfast. We had 7 mule dear right outside the restaurant playing and chasing each other for our amusement.

Room Tip: We were at the very far end on the ground level. I'm guessing the views may be better from the 2...

Lisa, thanks for your review. We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay! All of our guest rooms are as spacious as you describe, and we agree that our views are probably our best amenity! The combination of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods Park's red rock formations make for a stunning scene. There is nothing quite like enjoying a delicious breakfast while taking in that mountain view. Our local wildlife also help make each visit a charming Colorado Springs experience. Just to clarify, we actually haven't run any LivingSocial deals for our Lodge, although we do offer private sales on other select websites from time to time. Again, thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience. We hope you make it back to the area again soon.

We bought a travelzoo voucher and stayed in a jr. or deluxe suite (can't remember which.)

Service: We arrived there at 3:00 PM and were told our room was not ready yet. We asked if we could leave a phone number to call when it was ready, but then never got a phone call. Nevertheless, when we came back at 4:30 the room was ready.

The room: The view from the room was absolutely fantastic and we had sliding glass doors to enter onto a patio on which we could see rabbits and mule dear feasting on shrubs in front of the magnificent garden of the gods! The room had a kitchenette with coffee maker and fridge, a very comfy bed, couch, 2 tvs, sitting area, large bathroom, fireplace!!! and a walk in closet with a safe. My only problem with the room was that the kitchenette was not cleaned (stirring sticks were sticky with something, used solo cups in cupboard.)

The grounds: The area was very nice, but I must say there was a lot of litter in the shrubs around the rooms. There was toilet paper hanging from some of the bushes near our room for the 2 days we were there, and food wrappers and other things around the pathways . The pool looked very nice, but closes so early! 6:00 PM! We arrived there in are suits at 5:50 and left :( There is also no hot tub.

The restaurant: The restaurant has amazing floor to ceiling windows allowing people to see great views of the garden of the gods. The mixed drinks and beers are priced fine, but the wine is absolutely ridiculously highly priced. The dinner menu is extremely small. 4 entree items! We were disappointed at the lack of selection for such a nice hotel/club (don't the members get sick of the same 4 entrees?!) and decided to select from the many wonderful nearby restaurants for dinner instead. Our travelzoo voucher included breakfast which was very tasty and in the same dining room overlooking the Garden of the Gods.

Room Tip: It seems from other reviews I've read that the golf course rooms are not as nice... I would defi...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your experience at our Lodge. We're delighted that you enjoyed your guest room, the views, the local wildlife, etc.

Just to clarify, our outdoor infinity-edge pool is now open until 9 pm, not 6 pm, and we are hopeful that the glass door signage will be updated soon. We also have an indoor hot tub available for our guests to use; it is located in the spa and, like the pool, is available from 6 am to 9 pm daily.

It sounds like you may have visited our lounge, not our main dining room. The lounge offers casual dining and a more limited menu than the dining room, which offers nearly a dozen entree choices for dinner. We also update all of our dining menus several times a year to ensure variety and incorporate as many local and seasonal ingredients as possible.

In addition, our check-in time is 3 pm local time, so we're unsure why your room wouldn't have been ready. Occasionally, guests are provided with complimentary room upgrades, which involves moving them to different guest rooms than originally planned and can require a bit of extra preparation time. Please accept our sincere apology for the cleanliness issues you experienced, which are being addressed with the appropriate staff.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed your stay overall and hope to see you back again soon.
