We stayed 5 nights, hiked the area (including the trek up Pikes Peak) and had a wonderful time. The Club accommodations were terrific. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and I can't say enough about the view overlooking Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Wow. Staff were helpful, friendly, & accommodating. It was great. I have stayed in the area several times before and this is, by far, the best. The spa services were very nice and dining superb. Definitely will come back to the Club next time we travel to this area! Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Views of Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak is stunning from any room.

I have just returned from a hiking trip to Colorado Springs. Though my group first attempted to stay at another well-known hotel, we ended up at The Lodge--much to our good fortune. Every room has a spectacular view of Pikes Peak. The lobby is lovely. The restaurant food was excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice spa services. And obviously some investment of capital in the upkeep of the Lodge. It is easy to get to Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, and Old Colorado City from the Lodge, plus all the natural wonders of the area. My friends and I look forward to going back to The Lodge at Garden of the Gods!

If you are looking for a hotel with great views this is it. You wake up every morning to a view of the Garden of the Gods. Every morning my wife and I stayed mule deer were right outside our room which was spectacular. This hotel is also centrally located to all of the major attractions in the area with a 20 minute drive the longest we experienced.

The only downside to this hotel is it is a bit outdated. A chair in our room had a tear in it and there was an empty water bottle left in the room from the previous guests. We didn't spend much time in the room however, so it didn't really matter to us. Bed was pretty comfortable overall very peaceful nights sleep.

Room Tip: I would make sure to get a room on the second floor for the best views.

Nathan, thank you for having taken the time to write a review of our property. We appreciate your kind comments about our view, location, wildlife, and guest room beds. While our guest rooms are comfortable and spacious, we are currently in the process of enhancing decor. Recent changes to the rooms have included new bedding and televisions, for example, and future plans include adding new artwork and furniture. I am disappointed to learn about the empty water bottle in your room, as our policy is to inspect each room before the new guest checks in. I will follow up with our housekeeping department. Thank you again for your review, and we hope to see you again soon.

I live in Colorado but had never stayed at the Club. We were there for a wedding and it was the most beautiful resort location I've seen in Colorado! The Club is fairly close to the city but doesn't feel like it; every detail of our room was in order; the room was extremely comfortable, well-appointed, and roomy; and the view is spectacular, stunning, breathtaking, etc. Lots to do from hiking and biking to other local attractions to golf and tennis. The food was good, not great. The last thing I did before checking out was to go out onto our surprisingly private patio to breathe the fresh mountain air and absorb the view one last time.

Spectacular views from my spacious an well apportioned room of Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods. Leaving the blinds open and watching the early morning sun rays reflect off of the formations.... truly mystical. Great staff folks at the cocktail lounge, i.e. Melissa, Dawn, and Grant (?). Would visit again.

We stayed here as a family, me, my husband, and our 12 year old daughter. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It was a little bit stuffy at first, with the valet parking and country club members but you quickly get over it because the views are just insane! We stayed in The Lodge, it was exceptional. The room was spotless, large, comfortable with a private balcony with a full on 180 degree view of Garden Of The Gods. Spectacular. When we checked in and got to our room, the first thing we did was step out on to the balcony...we all just stood there speechless with our mouth open.

We stayed on the first floor and we ate dinner on the balcony and we were visited by a huge healthy buck deer who was having his dinner about 10 feet from us. Just amazing. We may not have even seen him had we not been on the first floor and the view is just as good from the first floor.

Pros:
View with balcony, exceptional (buck deer included)
Room service
lounge
easy parking
clean
friendly helpful staff

Cons:
Expensive but worth it for the view
a little stuffy, not the staffs fault just kind of a snobby country club feel (dress code is strict and enforced in dining room)
DO NOT COME HERE WITH LOUD OR ROWDY CHILDREN...they would be VERY out of place...not really a "kids" hotel...very adult, although our 12 year old did fine and loved it.

Room Tip: If you get a room on the first floor you may be visited by local deer...stunning to drink coffee whi...
