“awe and amazement”
Reviewed August 2, 2014

Still on East Coast time, we woke up early and were in the parking lot by a little after 6 AM. The rising sun on giant red rock formations was like nothing this East Coast woman had ever seen. Beautifully-maintained paved paths were great for both walking and running. We couldn't resist taking photos at nearly every turn. This place is unforgettable.

“WOW!!!!!!”

Awesome! Must see if in Colorado Springs even if your in Denver it is worth the drive. Bring your hiking shoes and camera. Most of the big attractions have paved sidewalks but the smaller ones you might have to walk over some rough paths. This is owned be the City of Colorado Springs and is FREE!

“Great for wedding photos!”
Reviewed August 1, 2014 via mobile

We got married at American Mother's Chapel and did our photos at Garden of the Gods in October 2013. It is free to enter and a breathtaking landscape. Merge photos went quickly since it is such a short drive to so many beautiful vantage points.

“SO much free family fun!”
Reviewed August 1, 2014

We spend half a day here on our family adventure trip in July. My children are 10 and 5 and really enjoyed climbing on the rock formations and hiking around the area. We started to follow the hiking maps to do the easy hike but then decided we wanted a little more adventure so we headed for the "challenging" hiking trails. My kids did totally fine on those trails. I feel as long as you are healthy and active the more challenging hikes are great for families. A piece of advise, go early in the morning! We arrived at 8:30am (we are early risers) and the temperature was great and it was not crowded at all. By the time we walked back to the main parking lot at about noon there were tons of people there. Go early!
