“Great place to get back to nature”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2013

I have been to the Garden of the Gods a couple of times now. It has only been more and more enjoyable the older I get. Its a great place to hike and see mother natures work at its best. Also a great place to get a good workout without going to the gym. Climb a few rock trails and you will find out.

“A stroll through the Garden of the Gods.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2013

If you visit Colorado Springs this is a must. One can stroll along the path and see beautiful red rock formations. There are paved trails as well as off road trails. If you are an avid rock climber and have a permit you can climb up and repel down the sides of some of these gorgeous rocks.

“Great experience for all ages”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2013

This is a marvelous FREE park with a great history. Close to Denver and Colorado Springs, it is a wonderful escape from the city, well maintained with trails, hiking, colorful sights and photographic opportunities at every turn. Great for all ages, the geologic formations and interpretive information make this a great field trip to understand the formation of the Rockies. For the more adventuresome, there is rock climbing but strict requirements for proper climbing gear is enforced.

“Breath taking rock formations”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2013

This is not a tourist trap!! This in one of the most beautiful parks that you can drive thru or hike! If you are anywhere close to Colorado Springs or Manitou Springs..this must be your number one choice on your to do list. Plus is it free to get in the park!!
