My husband and I just returned from a trip to Colorado. We visited Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colorado. All I can say, is what an amazingly beautiful place! It was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. You can see the red rocks against a mountainous backdrop that is so beautiful, it looks fake! You are able to see Pikes Peak in the distance which is at an elevation of 14,000 feet. We hope to climb that mountain the next time we are in Colorado. Admission is free to this amazing site so don't miss it if you are in the area.

This is a free attraction. It is a beautiful and awe-inspiring place with great trails. If you aren't up to walking the trails, you can drive through the park and still have a great experience. They have concrete trails, but they also have trails that are rocky and up steep inclines. It was one of the best things we did while in Colorado Springs, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Interesting rock formations, great hiking, exploring, and picnic locations. The visitors center is a good place to start to get some information on the geology.

The family that donated this land said it must remain free and there should be a special place in heaven for them. God bless them. Four generations of my family loved this. Do not miss it and really absorb its beauty.

Beautiful red rocks and stunning view of Pikes Peak! Much better than Red Rocks Park in Denver. Also the Balanced Rock is incredible, and the only reason it has been re-enforced with concrete at its base is because stupid tourists tried to constantly push it over in the past, and concrete was put at the base as a way to prevent any more human caused damage, and prevent it from falling. Anyway just thought I'd explain a popular misconception.
