It's simply breath taking. It's a must see if your in Colorado Springs. There is a shop that is not too expensive. Also go across the street from the Garden of the Gods and they have a pretty good lunch menu.

At first I thought that looking at the rock formations would be boring, but this is a definite must-see. There are breathtaking views and several different places to stop and take pictures on the rocks themselves. Visitors can hike, picnic, ride horses, or watch professional rock climbers. Visitors drive through the park at their own pace, so you could spend anywhere from 30 minutes to all day long exploring the park.

I grew up in Colorado Springs, and the Garden of the Gods is probably my favorite place to visit. It's free, it's gorgeous, and it's one of the best places in town to soak in the sunshine and blue skies that bless the Springs 300 days a year. Stop at the various parking lots and get out and walk! It's not strenuous (unless you want it to be!)

Like nothing you have ever seen before. The best part is it's free! The guy that owned it made his kids promise it would always be free to get into for the public, you have to bring your camera, you have to go for a hike, you just have to go if you're in CO Springs, from down the road I saw it a few times and was like eh, doesn't look worth it. But you have to get in there to see why it is. Amazing!

We're lucky enough to live only 7 minutes from Garden of the Gods. It's one of the most beautiful places we've ever seen. The rock formations are phenomenal! Be sure to spot the most famous of the formations....Kissing Camels!
