Must visit the chapel. It is truly a work of art. The visitors center give a great deal of history and the theater provides a nice film about cadet life during there four years at the academy.

The Air Force Academy is worth anyone's visit. It is great to see where our service men and women learn and train. Its location is perfect against the Rocky Mountains. A must for anyone in the area.

We started at the visitors center and walked over to the chapel. The walk there is very pretty, with the campus below you and the mountains behind you. The chapel is just gorgeous and it was so great to see the light coming through the many colors of stained glass.

Worth a stop at visitor's center. This is one of those pat on your back gung ho glad to be an American tourist sites. However, you can see where you tax dollars are being spent. The chapel is worth a stop. Pictures came out really good with all that blue light filtering in through the stained glass. They have real planes on display. You could do this in about one hour or so.
