I know this is a big destination for colorado visitors, but it wasn't that exciting for me. It is a beautiful church and it is cool to be on the air force base, but there wasn't anything spectacular.

The chapel is the highlight of the academy and it offers some beautiful workmanship. Its also interesting to watch the cadets run along the granite lines to and from class ( The plaques by the chapel will explain why).

A unique opportunity to visit an active military training academy. Tour guides extremely knowledgable and the chapel has to be seen to be believed.

It's always fun to visit the Air Force Academy. Entrance is free and there's lots to see. Depending on the guide who volunteered that day, the chapel tour alone will keep you entertained for hours.

US Air Force Academy is a nice location, but lacks the appearance and history of either West Point or Annapolis. The one site that is architecually unique is the Chapel, otherwise a rather bland location. West Point is clearly the best of the 3, Annapolis is worth the visit. Not sure I can say that for Air Force
