We visited the academy and were interested to learn about the history of the academy, cadet life, statistics, etc. Very informative tours are available, all free of charge. There's also a nice gift shop if you wish to purchase souvenirs.

Lliving here is Colorado Springs we always forget USAFA is also an attraction. We pass it on the Interstate everyday and it is just there. This is a great place to bring out of town family or friends. The visitor center is great and the chapel is breathtaking. Remember to get tickets for a football, basketball or hockey game. Too much fun and you cannot help but feel patriotic.

Great to see the place again, it was freezing but fun to see a football game and tailgate. The tailgate was put on by the academy and they did a wonderful job trying to keep everyone warm with heaters, etc.

The children were facinated by the vastness of the campus and the variety of sights. The Chapel is a highlight. Really enjoyed attending a football game in their stadium (loss to service academy rival Navy). Great gameday experience - friendly crowd, wholesome atmosphere.

Breathtakingly beautiful! Seeing the gliders up in the air, watching the cadets from the Wall (see why they call it the ZOO now), the Visitor Center is HUGE and expansive amount of beautiful property, the Chapel is as amazing up close as it is from I-25 as you approach the Springs. So very glad we took the time to see it! A definite do not miss!
