“Beautyful Place To Visit”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

Being retired military we are blessed and had the opportunity to stay for 4 day in base lodging at the U.S.Air Force Academy and had a wonderful visit, every morning and evening we were entertained by the wildlife that calls this base home.

The Chapel along with the many historical memorials dedicated to past Air Force personal and heros in the large court yard is a must see for visitors.

“Beautiful!”
Reviewed October 20, 2012 via mobile

Stopped at the Air Force academy today after visiting garden of gods. It was very nice, chapel was beautiful especially the stained glass inside. The visitor center has some interesting exhibits as well. We were there with our 3 small children about an hour. At the entrance there is a b52 bomber that you can walk around and take photos. Stop in if your traveling by!

“Lovely”

You might need to be an airplane buff to appreciate the grounds, but the chapel is worth a visit if nothing else appeals to you. My son was married there as the setting sun was coming through the stained glass windows - gorgeous. Also there is a killer hike that starts on the academy grounds. It goes up Eagle's Peak - I recommend it, just not your first days at altitude.

“Thanks to our USAFA”

In particular we visited the Cadet Chapel and it is just beautiful. It's also wonderful to see so many young men and woman wearing their dress blues and showing their families around. It is worth the trip to see this spectacular sight, especially on a sunny day.

Always love visiting this great place! Love going to the chapel, and seeing all the cadets. If you haven't seen it, you gotta go!
