When the locals are hooked on a restaurant and return again and again, you know you're on to something. Excellent food, superior service. We've dined here 30 or 40 times. Very consistent food and service. Not taking credit cards is a pain, but it still is one of our favorite spots in town.

Delicious, fresh, wholesome food at a VERY reasonable price. Charming atmosphere of a ma' & pa' restaurant. They were so good, that if we lived close we would dine there at least one a week. Real food served by friendly folk.

We've eaten here over a dozen times in the last 10 years. It took a couple times to remember they don't take credit cards, so now we double check we have enough cash on us before we go.

We've always enjoyed the hearty breakfasts, no matter what we ordered. Coffee is a basic cup of joe, nothing fancy.

Burgers here arrive huge and juicy. I even like the fish and chips lunch.

The icing on the cake though, are the pies! We've often stopped just for pie and coffee on the way to a mountain day trip. Lots of variety for every pie lover.

Again, take cash, not credit cards to pay.
