“Fantastic digs!”

From the moment we were greeted by Gary to the end of day 4 with hugs and goodbye's, it was a great get away. The atmosphere is totally chill and the hosts Gary and Donna are wonderful. Their concept of self service lodging adds a special touch to the overall experience. We loved the outdoor kitchen and spent the majority of our time there just relaxing, cooking and excitedly talking about all the fish we caught on the mesa. It was an amazing 4 days and Cedaredge Lodge helped make that possible. We will be back with friends and family so that they too can experience the wonderful atmosphere of Cedaredge Lodge.

The Cedaredge Lodge is not only great because it is clean, has great linens and pillows and is super affordable, but also because there is the overall vibe that a lot of love has gone into the restoration of this 50's era motel. Donna and Gary are good people who love what they do...you just won't get this experience at a corporate hotel...ever. In a relatively small space, they offer nearly everything you need to decompress: we shot pool, hung out in the hammock and read, played backgammon, hot tubbed and ate amazing food cooked by Gary. We'll be back for when their apple trees are in bloom and then again after that. If you're touring Colorado, this is a great place...eclectic, fun, impeccably maintained and won't break the bank.

This charming lodge has been remodeled by Donna and Gary. Each comfortable room has a full kitchen and comfortable beds. We didn't spend much time in the room though...we ate Donna's delicious barbecue and lemon cake in the outdoor kitchen after having afternoon naps by the stream in a large hammock. Donna can be booked for a massage as well!
Very relaxing, very gracious hosts, very special place.
And totally afforable.
Close to the magnificent Grand Mesa east of Grand Junction and lots of wineries (and a distillery!) to visit. Don't miss the chocolate shop in Cedaredge also.

What a wonderful Oasis!! The outdoor kitchen next to the stream is soooo relaxing! The room was very comfortable and clean and just what we needed after an emotional day! Donna, the owner, made us feel very welcome and even made us a wonderful fruit salad with an awesome balsamic chocolate dressing!

This single level retro Lodge is a refreshing stay for so many unexpected reasons.
The rooms (all with small refrig, micro, & more) are cozy, clean, and enjoy satellite TV.
The owners are wonderfully hospitable and have designed a relaxed, home-lodge
atmosphere with a "community guest kitchen" complete with propane gas grills, stovetop
and oven, large refrigerator/freezer, dining and cookware, sink, long counter to view
TV and small circular tables for more intimate conversation. There's a game room and
even loaner (free) bicycles to take around town or the Grand Mesa. A little creek runs along the backside of the buildings and there are benches for resting (or meditating).
This is a superb place to host a family or small group gathering for one or several days.

Our family along with our dog, Bob, stayed at the Cederedge Lodge earlier this month. What a great find! Donna and Gary, the hosts, could not have been more friendly, fun, and accommodating! They even BBQ'd an awesome outdoor feast for us on our second night there! Gary is quite a talented carpenter, as he has done an amazing job of turning a plain, old boring looking lodge into something warm, comfortable and inviting! Donna puts her special touch on every nook and cranny of the lodge! And their African Gray parrot named George is quite the greeter! Thanks to you both for such a wonderful stay - we are looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I were looking for a new getaway vacation spot somewhere in the Grand Mesa area when we found the Cedaredge Lodge website. We were intrigued by all that they offered and for such a reasonable price. So, we decided to give them a call. After speaking with Donna on the phone we made our reservations for a 3 night stay. At Donna's suggestion, we planned to celebrate my husbands birthday by cooking dinner in the outdoor kitchen. At the time, we really didn't know what that would be, but it sounded like fun! The owners actually surprised us by decorating our room and baking my husband a birthday cake, complete with candles! Wow, what a great experience and a very touching gesture. In all our years of travel we have never had owners of any hotel, motel, lodge or resort do something like that for people they've never met! My husband and I would strongly recommend the Cedaredge Lodge to anyone looking to stay somewhere really special. You can tell Gary & Donna are people that really and truly care about their guests... Before we checked out, we even made reservations for the upcoming holiday!!! Can't wait to go back!
