Great Hotel, Very, Very friendly Staff. They were helpful in many ways. They always provided detailed directions. Excellent Breakfast across the street, the Village Inn. Say Hello to Diane. Be sure to climb Castle Rock.

This was a new, clean hotel for a family visit. It was Spring Break, so there were a LOT of small children, who took over the breakfast area two mornings, but the staff was very accommodating. The rooms were clean and well-serviced and everything worked.

My family and I stayed here twice (January 2014 and February 2014) and were very, very happy with our stay both times! Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, pool and hot tub were relaxing and wonderful, and the staff was amazing! The price was more than reasonable, too! This is, by far, THE place to stay when in Castle Rock.

One interesting note: We had two different rooms (one on the second floor in January and one on the first floor in February) and the decor in both rooms was identical....right on down to the pictures. That, of course, doesn't make or break the experience, but what was a little strange was the huge black and white photo of a very large, ominous raven that was the focal point in the rooms. Kind of reminded us of the horror movie "The Birds." Not a really "relaxing" photo...kind of weird, really. Not sure why someone would pick that as something to decorate a room with. Couldn't avoid looking at it either as it was the biggest picture in the room and hung over the desk and next to the TV, Very strange photo to choose for a hotel room. Could certainly work it's way into your dreams if you looked at it long enough...LOL!
