This is a small local owned restaurant. Everyone there is exceptionally friendly. You could even describe the restaurant as being somewhat quaint. Where they fall down is the food. The food is OK. Just OK. It all needs a kick in the pants dose of seasoning.

My husband and I ate Italian food and it was lacking all flavor. We won't bother trying the Mexican food.

Angie's Resturaunt is a small litle place with cute decor. My family and I went to dinner there just the other night and decided to try it. I found that they serve both Italian and Mexican food, which may be a mistake. It seems that most or all of the food is handmade or at least hand prepared. I had the spaghetti with pesto sauce and while it was wonderful having handmade pasta for the first time, the pesto sauce seemed to be a bit too thin and bland. With my pasta I also had a side salad with raspberry poppy seed dressing and that was delightful, though ask for the dressing on the side if you don't like TOO much dressing on your salad. The "garlic" bread they served at the table had a hard crust, tough texture, and didn't taste like garlic bread at all. One of my family members ordered pasta with marianara sauce as a side dish and the marianara sauce was delicious. But don't order the pasta salad as it's just penne with veggies and Italian dressing thrown on top. All in all, the effort of handmade food is nice... but they need to work on flavor because it is lacking.

Angie's Restaurant is a small town restaurant that does both Italian and Mexican dishes that are very tasty. Their calzones are really wonderful. The dough has a winey aftertaste that effervesces in the mouth. The salads are always fresh, with crunchy lettuce and high quality dressings. The chicken chimichangas are very tasty, and they utilize all white meat, so there are no gristle surprises as you are eating. We have tried the catering, and the food was absolutley top notch. They provide plates, napkins, plastic ware, and all the trimmings. In fact, they go above and beyond with that service as well. All drinks are served in oversized plastic cups, so refills are almost never necessary. Overall, a very nice place to eat lunch or dinner. Weekend afternoons and evenings are always crowded, so be aware.
