Description: Nestled at the foot of Pikes Peak in Cascade, Colorado, The Wines of Colorado is an unheralded, romantic oasis and an easy 15 minute drive from downtown Colorado Springs. True to its name, the restaurant, tasting room, retail wine sales and gift shop, all do a brisk sip-and-sup business, but while oenophiles can be found sniffing their way around the tasting room, epicureans retire to the wood planked deck or Creekside dining area to feast on towering sandwiches and burgers, including the very popular buffalo wine burger, a juice-dribbling, hand formed patty sky scraped with grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms, and roasted green chilis. Dine in the shade of the willows and pines next to Fountain Creek or on our sunny deck overlooking the creek. Combined with great food and wine, this is the Colorado experience you have been looking for. Shielded from the sun by wispy willow trees and aromatic pines along the creek, The Wines of Colorado is the perfect place to enjoy your getaway.

“Wine burgers and more!”

The wiine burgers are "to die for". They also have buffalo burgers that are delicious. They offer free wine sampling and a great selection of wines and gifts. The restaurant sits along side a lovely mountain stream setting and they have a patio for warm day dining. We highly recommend this quaint restaurant

“Great Little Place”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

Wines of Colorado has become one of our "go to" places. Although as some have commented the dining room could use some more amenities, the wine selection is great and the food is very well-prepared and has little unusual touches that make it a cut above some of the restaurants in the area that may have more impressive decor. I might also point out that you can sample any wines you want - for free - before you decide what you want with your meal, or want to purchase. The wait staff is pleasant and accommodating. The only bad experiences we have had were when groups came in and were very loud and intrusive of the other diners (but that's not the fault of the staff).

“"Great Food and Fun"”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

We stopped in during a shopping trip. We felt welcomed and wanted at this restuarant! The food is excellent and the interior kept us gazing the whole time. The wine tasting room/gift shop attached is a "must see".

“Convenient & good value”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

We ate here as we were staying close by. The food was simple and generous but not outstanding. The tables and chairs & decor felt like more of a cafe than a serious restaurant, but this was fine for a quick meal.

“Delicious and Great Service”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

Decided to stop for lunch after a trip up to Pikes Peak. The food and service was excellent. I had the buffalo meatloaf special which was delicious. The rustic interior blended with the surroundings and the window table overlooked the small stream outside. After eating, I sampled some wine in the wine tasting room in which they sold many bottles of wine from Colorado wineries. The staff was friendly and helpful.
