“The perfect Family Reunion!”
Reviewed August 5, 2011

This is a great lodge in a great location! We have a very diverse family and the accommodations were excellent for our group. Brian and Debbie were very nice, and helpful making suggestions! The cabin location right outside of Colorado Springs was very convenient. We did a little bit of everything while we were there and the longest drive to any sight was about an hour to an hour and a half. We did Manitou Springs, the Air Force Academy, Royal Gorge, white water rafting, and so much more! I would highly recommend Rockly Mountain Lodge to any family looking to do as little or as much as you want!

While I live 30 minutes from the Rocky Mountain Lodge, I needed a personal get-a-way one particular weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed the location, the views, the amenities and the hospitality. The owners really make you feel "at home" and welcome. I would recommend this Lodge and BnB to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful and beautiful get-a-way in Colorado. Convenient to many Colorado site seeing opportunities and a great place to come home to while visiting our beautiful state.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent!

We were looking for a log-cabin feeling - well the lodge's main area met that 100% - with fireplace and a welcoming sitting and dining area. A breezeway from the main lodge was our suite; it was perfect and cozy - vey quite inside with a fireplace that splits the bedroom "and" living room, and warms up pretty quickly. The suite has a fabulous long two person hottub in the bedroom - very relaxing. An amazing breakfast was served every morning in our suite; it was a lot of food too. Brian and Debbie, the owners, made sure we were comfortable and having a good time. There was always coffee, hot chocolate, tea and cookies available in our suite as well as the lodge. This place is nestled in the woods, not quite secluded with other homes around you but it was just right! My husband and I enjoyed our hot chocolate sitting outside on the bench swing admiring the mountains and the very tall pine trees. You can hear the highway below but its only the sound of cars going by, nothing much. When you are indoors all you hear is the sound of the wooden floors beneath your feet. The lodge also has movies available to their guests free. Make sure you try them cookies Debbie puts out fresh; they are delish!

From the moment you walk in, Debbie & Brian make you feel right at home. The property and accommodations are rustic and very comfortable. The amenities are fantastic: from WiFi internet to hot coffee and cookies, guests are well cared for. And Debbie's breakfasts cannot be missed!

My husband and I recently took a short trip to Colorado. We had never been in the winter and just decided to go without making many plans. We stopped at the Visitor's Center when arriving in Colorado and I just picked the Rocky Mountain Lodge out of one of the brochures. We could not have picked a better place. We were the only ones in the lodge that evening so it made the stay extra special. We enjoyed the fireplace, the hot tub and most of all the excellent breakfast prepared by Debbie. It was definitely our favorite place that we stayed. We are planning on going back with the entire family.
