A very special place with cuisine from locally grown and raised food. If you are in this part of Colorado it is a must stop. Staff is friendly and helpful with recommendations. And the prices are very reasonable as well. The atmosphere was outstanding and made for a very special anniversary dinner. Reservations recommended.

It was difficult to select from the menu - so many tantalizing choices - unusual and every one flavorful. We ate on the patio and enjoyed every minute - a not to miss place - you will be astounded by the food.

Four of us just had dinner at Six89 in the Roaring Fork Valley and it was one of the most incredible dining experiences I've had. We dined as the sun was setting on the patio shaded by large cottonwoods. We feasted on an very reasonable prix fixe option from a unique bruschetta and stuffed squash blossoms to wonderful things done to Berkshire pork. And, the Palisade peaches are ripe and legendary in taste this year and the chef used them to perfection in various dishes. Only a dry peach and bacon cobbler was not up to the rest of the meal. The sommelier recommended a reasonable wine for our varied preferences. I loved this meal so much I took pics on my phone and I will remember this meal for a long. long, time.

dining with friends at six89 was very pleasant. this is part of a three restaurant empire and perhaps lacks the focus of a single property. all in all a lovely evening.

We have toured Colorado for some days, and suddenly you find this 5 star restaurant in the lazy town of Carbondale!
You can sit outdoor or indoor. There is a quiet and nice atmosphere both places. And for 26,95 dollars you get world-class gastronomy and 3 courses! Incredible! We got super tender and juicy pork shoulder and lamb shoulder - very, very tasty. The starters and desserts very good, too. Wine by the glass is 250 ml so it is actually 2 glasses. My dessert Sauterne was sold out so I got an Califonian swet wine on the house. Thank you for a magnificient evening.
