“First Rate Experience”

We visited this establishment last summer after a great rafting trip and wonder when they will open this year. Our experience was so much fun and the food was as delicious as the service was friendly. They serve yummy drinks as well. This restaurant obviously strives for perfection. Can't wait to go back!

“First Class/Beautiful/Yummy!”
Reviewed April 29, 2012

My fellow employees and I went to Echo Canyon Rafting Company last summer for a fantastic raft trip down the Big Horn on the Arkansas! Water was high and guides were amazing! Thanks to a great staff we will be back this summer! Much to our delight the rafting company had a classy and beautiful restaurant right there on the premises! What a great dining experience! Food was excellent and service was great! Superior place...nothing on that hill can compare with a class act like 8 Mile Bar & Grill! Oh did I mention that the restaurant opens up to a huge deck where we ate and enjoyed the spectacular view of the Sangre De Cristo Mountain range?! There is nothing quite like it and I hope everyone who reads this goes there!

Hi Gail, Thanks for your review! I'm happy to hear you and your colleagues had a great meal at our restaurant. We couldn't agree more; view is wonderful from the patio. We've updated our menu a bit this summer, so hopefully you can return again and check us out. Thanks so much for your kind words!

“What a View!”
Reviewed April 6, 2012

The new 8 Mile Bar and Grill at Echo Canyon Rafting is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner whether you go rafting or not. The view of the Sangre de Christo mountains is absolutely spectacular from the entire restaurant which opens to a large open patio. The menu is varied with good food and the staff is fun. When we were there last summer, members of a three-generation family occupied a large table on the patio all day while some of the family was rafting. Be sure to check out the huge pictures on the wall which are authentic Colorado Historical Markers!

We're pleased to hear you were impressed! We do like that we now have a nice location for guests to relax while other members of their family are rafting; thanks for mentioning that. We've got some additions this year to add to the decor as well. The owners love including the local history into the look and feel of the place. Don't worry, the historical markers are still there! We hope to see you again one day. Thanks for your review.
