If you are nearby this spot, I will think twice before visiting it.
But I travelled more than 150 miles to see just this bridge??? made the biggest joke out of me
The bridge is definitely at a great height, but in terms of its tourist valuation, it is a drag...one which has been dragged a bit too much!!!
Also for this, they charge 15$/person...what a waste
Will recommend not to visit...even to the locals of that area

I chose length of visit <1 hour...couldn't find a lesser one

Thank you for taking the time to post. Each year, approximately 330,000 visitors come to the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. The majority of them spend four or more hours at the park. There is a free viewpoint located right outside of the parking lot area for those who wish to only see the bridge and not partake in all that the attraction has to offer.

drove up to see the gorge - well in order to actually see it , they expect a ridiculous amount of $ that includes a small amusement park and then you can drive across the bridge & come back. NO WAY!

The Royal Gorge Bridge & Park does offer a bridge only ticket from 7-8:30 a.m. and one hour before park closing to dusk. We also offer a free viewpoint of the Royal Gorge and bridge for those who do not wish to pay to come into the park.

Ticket prices are $25 for adults and $19 for children "includes all rides" -- well there aren't a lot of rides. There is a carousel, but my 9 year old isn't interested in carousels any more. There is an incline railroad but, my daughter was scared to ride it (hey, I was happy about that because I didn't have to admit I was scared, too!) There is also an aerial tram, but no way would we get on that, either! Took some photos of it with a zoom and people were packed in there, standing. That doesn't look like fun to me, also doesn't look too safe, but I suppose it must be since they never crash...yet.

I wish they had an option for tickets for someone who just wants to walk or drive the bridge --- but then they wouldn't make as much money, and that's what it always comes down to. We've seen it; won't go back. But if you don't mind spending the money, the gorge is incredible to see. Truly beautiful and awe-inspiring.

This is an outstanding park and well worth the money. Enjoy the tram across the cliffs and don't forget to take the incline train down to the river. These two are included in your ticket price. This park can be enjoyed by both young and old unless you're petrified of heights. Make sure and wear good walking shoes. There's animals to see once you cross the gorge as well as the old west revisited.
