Ask for Luke as your guide. Friendly, knowledgable. He would add fun stuff to do. Kept us entertained.

Thank Websterwayne

Great trip. First time white water rafting and had a great time. Jarrod was the best guide. Recommend it. Did the half day Browns Canyon class III+. All was 18 or older and we had a blast. Thanks Jarrod.

We had a blast rafting on the Arkansas with Performance Tours out of Buena Vista, CO. The river rapids were just enough to get excited about and experience some real action, but not too scary for a family of four with only beginner skills. The scenery was great too. The people that worked in the rafting store and the ones that helped fit lifejackets etc. were friendly and helpful. Our guide was Paul and he was great. Very safety oriented, knowledgable about the river, professional and friendly! Our bus transportation was provided by Kathleen and she was very fun and friendly too! Highly recommend this trip down Brown's Canyon.

These guys are the best. I cannot swim and fully made them aware of that fact. After all the pret-trip information, I felt very comfortable. Our guide, Crede, was the best. He made me totally comfortable, yet he had us 'playing' in the river. The safety record is impecible!

Went on a half day rafting trip in the Brown's Canyon. The waves were very tame, not much excitement. The problem I had was that the company paired my group of four with another group of four. Eight people and a guide in the raft is too much. One person had to sit in the ejection seat and one person did not even row. That is unacceptable....

Our # 1 priority is always safety. We have one of the best safety records in the business. 8 guests in a boat is not uncommon on the section of river that you rafted on. I looked at photos on the day of your trip, which was one of the busiest days of the entire summer, and just about every company out there had at least one raft with 8 guests - some had several. The overall weight of the 8 participants was not a safety concern with 4 children in the raft - the raft is actually rated for 9 adults plus the guide. Any time we have kids under age 12 in a raft, the guide uses their discretion on whether or not to allow them to paddle. It would depend on their age, weight, height, ability to brace and paddle, and the current water level. Guides frequently feel that it is safer to have children age 11 and under not paddle and sit in the middle to minimize the possibility of them falling out. If they are leaning out in an attempt to paddle without being properly braced because of their size, there is a much greater chance of falling out. Our policy is consistent with the industry standard. We have had many groups over the past 29 years request to have 8 in a raft and loved the experience. I hope you understand that we would never compromise a guests safety by overloading a raft.
