“AVA is the all-around go-to: it's fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

Fact: AVA is all you need to enjoy Colorado's adventurous side.
Fact: We did the Zip Line at the beautiful Buena Vista/Granite Outpost location and it was a blast. AVA does all the work for you, it's super safe and the guides are fun and helpful.
False: You need to be an expert to do intense rafting.
Fact: My 55-year-old parents and my fellow 20-something brother and I thoroughly enjoyed the Class 4 rapids on The Numbers run. It was an absolute thrill and our charismatic guide made it a relative breeze. The provided wet suits and and splash jackets are clutch.
False: This post was an AVA-written review.
Fact: I only write feedback when I feel strongly about an experience -- AVA is the cream of the Colorado crop.

“Most Excitement On White Water”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

Highly recommended for adventurers an not so adventurous! We did the "mild to wild" overnight trip and where not disappoint. Food great, staff and guides great, white water great. We also stayed in the cabin the night prior to the trip and it was much nicer than expected, clean, hot water, much better than advised so we stayed in them another night!

“Arkansas River - Numbers Trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

Falcon (Zach) was an awesome guide on the Numbers trip. Very knowledgeable and thorough with pre-trip details. The level III and IV rapids were a blast. Free wetsuits and splash jacket were a must. Thank you.

“Awesome Family Rafting Trip on Clear Creek”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

We had booked our trip through Echo Rafting but it was actually through this company that we took the trip. We happen to be in Vail competing in the GoPro Mountain Games and thought we would add to our adventure and take a rafting trip. Our guide Maggie was so awesome. We took our two girls (9 & 7). My husband has paddling experience (kayaking) as well as our girls and I have close to none and we let our guide know - they let him wear some of his gear - helmet but not his life jacket but that is understandable as he has a rescue vest and theirs have a head rest flotation where as his just keeps you from going completely under the water. Maggie seemed very excited and we were the only boat and family on the trip. Clear Creek was running a bit high and we had a great trip...the river constantly moved and we got wet (the water temp is around 40) but it was most definitely a fun time. My girls loved that we had a female guide which actually made them feel even more comfortable - when they are out on the rivers here in GA they don't see many girls out there so it is always a plus to see one and then to have one as a guide is even better. I would highly recommend this company and Maggie. By the way - we all stayed in the boat the whole time - no casualties but when we got there we met a group coming off of the intermediate section and apparently they all had spilled in the water but everyone was happy just a little chilly.

Thanks guys for such an awesome trip - it definitely was a great start to our weekend for the GoPro Mountain Games.

This was a very nice experience. We will definitely be visiting again and bringing our grandchildren. We visited as a couple, but this is too nice not to share.
