We had the chance to use Wilderness Aware this past summer for rafting two times. It was awesome and Ella, our guide, was amazing. The safety and training of the guides is second to none. Not only did we have a blast on class fives, but felt very safe and informed along the way. Thanks and we will be back!

“Half day well spent”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2013

Exciting WW raft trip though Brown's Canyon on the Arkansas river.

The afternoon was enjoyed by myself and my two granddaughters ages 9 and 11. We have made a similar trip on the Colorado above Glenwood Springs and this float compared favorably --- although not as much opportunity to get out and float along with the raft due to different nature of the river.

New well maintained equipment. The rafting company personnel did a nice job of negotiating some reasonably technical water and kept the trip safe.

“What A Blast!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2013

Our family of 2 adults and 2 early teens girls took the full day rafting trip mid-August after the reservoir outflow was closed. So the water was a little low for our outing. But our guide was exceptional and picked the route that we can still have a great time. We did have to paddle quite a bit due to lower water level and slower flow. Lunch was great and the guides picked a very nice place for us to picnic. We will try to come back earlier in the summer next time.

“The Mother of All Raft Guides!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

Don't just think about it, do it! And do it with Wilderness Aware Rafting.
Took my family of 4 including 2 teenage young men to Colorado in early August 2013. Wilderness Rafting was highly rated on various places I found on the Internet; I have to say we were not disappointed.
We took the full day trip. The cost was worth it. Our raft guide, ""Mother" helped us have an exciting, sightseeing, humorous, safe trip....oh and he was quite the lunch time chef.
I would recommend this company to anyone. Looking forward to going back!
Thank you!

“Second trip with them; they're great!”

First trip with WA was several years ago. Had the opportunity to be in the Buena Vista area again this past summer and signed up with WA for their Arkansas Narrows half-day.
