Took two skeptical young daughters down Brown's Canyon on first rafting trip and they loved it! Jesse, our guide, was the Jeff Spicoli of the Arkansas and quickly put the kids at ease and made the trip not only fun but educational...who new that your Chia Pet could be so nutritious! Thanks to all the staff at Buffalo Joes for all the great service and fun times! We'll be back!

We did the 2 day overnighter on the 27th July 2012. The check in was a bit hectic with several parties arriving and getting their gear together. We met our guide Travis and headed about 10 miles to the launch area.

The weather was perfect the first day but a bit cloudy the second. However, the rafting was still spectacular.

We had steak and corn for lunch cooked by Travis, our guide. It was delicious and after eating we headed back to the raft.
We got to camp around 4pm and set up camp. Our dinner was cooked by Travis and Kurk, his assistant. Once again, this was a very nice meal.

We had plans to play dodgeball and sit around the camp fire, however the weather came in bad and we had thunder and lighting and lots of rain for the rest of the evening.

The second day was just as enjoyable as the first. We tackled bigger rapids but had to keep stopping as a few times there was a back log of rafts.

All in all, the white water rafting was a great experience and very enjoyable. Travis was informative, friendy and looked after us well.

We did a family float with our 3 kids ages 12, 8, and 3 and the whole family had a great time. The kids still talk about it.....well that maybe because Mom and Dad flipped off the raft. Our guide Margo was great about getting us back in the raft and taking care of the kids. The water was very low, but since this was our first time rafting we still enjoyed it. The trip was a half day, but could have totally enjoyed a full day.

The only thing not giving this a 5 is the check in is kind of crazy, but we are looking forward to doing it again and will ask for Margo!

~Thanks so much for the wonderful rafting experience. I was a little worried with having so many different ages (8-43) that we wouldn't all enjoy it. Boy was I wrong! We did the all day trip which included a stop half way that included a wonderful steak lunch. While the kids cooled off the Guides made us steak, salad, and corn on the cob. Benny, our guide was wonderful. Not only was he very good at his job but was also very interesting. We learned a lot and had fun at the same time..Also, loved Zena his dog. I love the relaxed atmosphere. That is why we take vacations and I couldn't imagine a better place. I would highly recommend to anyone. ASK FOR BENNY!

We went rafting on the full-day Numbers trip on 7/27/12 and were very disappointed with our experience. The water levels were very low, causing the raft to constantly scrape bottom and get stuck on rocks. It was not much of a rafting experience or much fun. Furthermore the trip ended after we ate lunch because the water levels were so low without any offer of compensation. I really wish they had been more honest with me about the water levels when I inquired and made the reservations 5 days earlier. If they are going to offer rafting trips under such bad conditions I believe they should fully disclose the conditions (there were no true 'rapids') and possibly offer discounted rates similar to ski resorts that offer spring skiing rates.
