Lobby is updated to Renaissance decor and it is energizing. Suites are quite comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. Staff are very friendly. The location offers choices of walking to the mall and provides easy driving access to Boulder and Denver. We have stayed at the other full service hotels in the area and this hotel is the best by far...

Renaissance (part of the Marriott brand) typically features more modern rooms and lobbies than Marriott hotels and that is definitely the case here. The lobby has a great mix of modern and outdoorsy decoration--I also like how they contrast traditional lobby decor (bookcases, tapestries) with contemporary decor (modern lighting and chairs). The rooms are contemporary and have a slightly upscale feel. Service is great and so is their fitness center. Room rates are reasonable here and while the hotel is not in Downtown Boulder, it is an easy 15-minute drive to get there.

Pros: Contemporary and nice rooms (great looking French doors in their suites), modern lobby with a great atmosphere (nice glass enclosed fire pit that looks great and provides warmth), good fitness center, more reasonable room rates than the Boulder Marriott, friendly customer service, free parking

Cons: Not in Downtown Boulder and not close to Denver either, no Concierge Lounge if you are a Marriott Rewards Gold or Platinum member

Room Tip: Not a room tip, but if you are a Marriott Rewards Gold or Platinum member, you get a full breakfast...

You won't be disappointed if you choose to stay at this beautiful hotel, staffed by friendly and courteous staff. The hotel is conveniently located and within walking distance to many shops. The decor is contemporary. I loved the fireplace by the lobby bar. Great for gathering at Happy Hour!
Our room was large, had a great view of the mountains and the bed was very comfortable-not something that I usually say about a hotel bed! The only thing I found "unusual" was the wallpaper choice in the bathroom. It helps to have a sense of humor! Again, the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will return again.

If you're in the Broomfield/Boulder area, make sure you consider the Renaissence Hotel. It's well appointed, but not overstated. This hotel has some of the nicest, friendliest and most attentive staff I have seen anywhere. They are always willing to help and are very genuine - not the contrived, I'm smiling but because if I don't I'll get reprimanded" staff that you sometimes see. The location is central to the area; right across from a mall and a variety of restaurants. Rooms are very nice. They're spacious, with enough room to feel comfortable versus cramped. Most importantly, they are clean! The lobby is very nice with a variety of seating areas. The bar (and staff) is a good size and a very strong selection of libations. If you're a whisky person (that's Scotch whisky), they have more than you'd expect. They also have a very extensive wine list. The restaurant is also well done, with a varied menu (they like dishes with wild game). There's outside seating with contemporary, open firepits to warm you as the evening gets cooler. I'd comfortably recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view.

This hotel was excellent. We had a room on the 8th floor with a view of the mountains. The room was clean and spacious. They also had a great brunch available and a laundry facility on the 2nd floor. The staff was very welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We got a great room rate on Booking.com.

Room Tip: Get a room on one of the top floors for the best view.

We just returned from 4 nights in this hotel and really enjoyed it. My husband had business in Louisville and we have relatives in Boulder. Can't beat the location with the Flatiron Mall within walking distance. The hotel itself is very nice with many new upgrades. The decor is very interesting, like a contemporary mountain feel. Take notice of the horsehair chairs, antler light fixtures, cut log ceiling in the dining room, etc. The breakfast is exceptional with a beautiful buffet plus made to order omelets, french toast, pancakes, waffles, etc. While waiting for the elevator be sure to look out the window at the field of prairie dogs...very cool. My only complaint this trip was that they were obviously training a new housekeeper because when we returned after a long day out, we found that the bed was made but nothing else was done (drape tie backs on the floor, ironing board and hair dryer left out, wrapper in the floor, etc). We called the front desk and the head of housekeeping personally came to the room and she took care of it right away. Front desk and restaurant staff exceptional as always.

My wife and I and our 17 year old son who is mildly autistic stayed for a weekend in late June. The hotel was very nice and conveniently located but the staff was even better! We had the breakfast both days. My son is a very fussy eater. One evening, we had Chinese food and he loves to eat the leftovers for breakfast. They reheated the Chinese food for him and our son was delighted to have it for breakfast as we dined on eggs. Everyone there treated him with kindness and respect from the restaurant to the front desk to the maintenance staff. Highly recommend!!
