“for your standard indoor arena, not bad ...”
Review of 1stBank Center

Your basic indoor arena that has concerts. Hard concrete floor, expensive box seats, reserved seats are far from the stage. Given that it's an arena, it's pretty good. But, still ... you're going to an arena ...

There are a lot of large concert venues in the Denver/Boulder area. This one is intimate and a very nice place to enjoy music or whatever event is being held. It beats the big arenas in town.

I have seen Tom Petty and Paul Simon perform here and was impressed at each show. The sound is quality in most areas and the venue is nice. Located right off of highway 36. Have been to a show in GA floor as well as a show in assigned seats. Both sounded great. Would prefer this venue to Pepsi Center, Mile High and Fiddlers Green. If your in Colorado for a show though, the first choice is ALWAYS Red Rocks.

I like the smaller venue. Parking is HORRIBLE...should have been closer to the actual arena and more parking spaces available!!! In the colder and wetter days, an underground tunnel would have been awesome or at least, a covered walkway. During snow season the walks are slippery and not taken care of right away...very dangerous.
This place has limited roads for leaving and causes a real backup when events end.
When this center first opened, I sent an evaluation card with about a dozen possible small improvements, but never heard back from anyone. Some were initiated.
This is just an okay center. Easy access from US36.

We have been to several concerts/performances at the 1stBank Center. The most recent was in March 2013. I will say that the acoustics are much better than they were when the venue first opened. The remodel/retrofitting they did a few years ago with a change of ownership has definitely helped. However, the seats are really tight (mostly lacking legroom but also in width). Maybe we're just getting wider...
