The slides, etc are certainly geared for smaller kids, but even my teenager likes it for a quick, fun place to cool off on a hot day.

This is the perfect place for younger kids (under 12) to be on a hot day! My kids love the slides and hanging out in the pool. I like that there is a separate pool and slides for the younger kids. Almost everything is within view so I can keep track of the kids easily. Lifeguards seem to be alert and do a good job. It is pretty inexpensive for residents and the Friday night Family night is great. Really hot days can get really busy, bit it generally slows down after the pool clears at 2.

Beautiful, clean pools. The kids pool is wonderful, zero entry with a small slide. The large pool has a great water play area. The multiple slides are fun!

The Bay is an one of several facilities run bt Broomfield's excellent Parks and Recreation Department. Open between Memorial Day and Labor Day, it's perhaps most popular for elementary school kids and their parents. But some younger kids and teens also come. The queue for the water slides is almost always there, but is usually short enough, and moves quickly enough, to keep folks going back for more. Low admission fees, summer passes, free parking, keep The Bay hopping on summer days.
