“Going to Boulder? Stay here!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2009

We stayed at the Omni Interlocken the very last night of a week in Colorado. It is conveniently 10-15 minutes from Boulder and very easy to get there. If you do not have a rental car there are shuttles that can take you to and from. Hop skip and a jump to Pearl Street!
The staff at Omni's overall are so very hospitable and welcoming. The hotel's interior is clean and very well decorated. The pool area is way above standard. There is a walk up bar to order beverages & cocktails. There is a lovely dripping waterfall over boulders that you can see and pleasantly hear while you enjoy your swim or sunbathe.

I did have the opportunity to enjoy the Mokara Spa inside the hotel. I did not have an appointment and they accomdated me right away. Not only was the massage such an exhilirating experience, but the complimentary 30 minute facial was a surprise touch! The lounge area while I waited was great, hot tea, fruit infused water and plush furniture.

Overall this hotel is great for singles, families, or business related travel.

I stayed at the Omni Interlocken while attending a training conference in nearby Louisville. There were about 50 of us staying at the Omni. Every employee I encountered was friendly and ready to help. I strongly suggest that prior to any stay at an Omni, you join its Select Guest Loyalty Program. It's free and as a member you can receive up to 2 complimentary beverages delivered to your room each morning, your choice of newspaper (including the New York Times), slippers, and turn-down service. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to use the fitness center or pool, but both looked nice. I did not eat in any of the hotel restaurants either, as the hotel is conveniently located near several good restaurants and shopping centers. The hotel is about 30 minutes from downtown Denver and 20 minutes from Boulder.

The Omni is an attractive property about 45 minutes from the Denver International Airport, roughly midway between Denver and Boulder. Check in was quick and efficient. When a line (3 people) developed at the desk, the staffer who had been greeting guests at the door, came around to assist with check in. That's one thing that I noticed is that this hotel seems to have plenty of staff on duty. Too often these days, I notice that hotels only have the bare minimum staffing levels. It's adequate, I guess, but things get left undone. No chance for that special customer interaction. Not so here. There were always plenty od staff around...greeting you pleasantly, asking if there was a way in which they could help. Management was also quite visible on my trips through the lobby area.

The rooms are situated with views of the mountains or the "golf course/interstate/construction site"...ask for the mountain view. You'll be glad you did. Room was quite comfortable: decent sheets, duvet, flat screen TV, safe, robes, lighted closet, etc...

Be sure to use your Omni Select Guest membership. It's free to sign up and gets you: free in room internet ,otherwise it's $9.95/day (free to all in the lobby area though), coffee or juice delivered to your room in the morning, the WSJ and local paper delivered (in addition the one with pretty colors) and evening turndown service. 24 hour room service is a plus for those of us who want a panini and a beer at 3am (it hit the spot!).

The lobby bar is spacious and cozy at the same time and would be a great place to watch the game or the snow fall. Mojitos seem to be a specialty. Starbucks coffee is brewed fresh in the lobby gift shop all day.

A nice upscale operation the way it oughta be!

This is a nice hotel in a pretty good location. The hotel has very large grounds and feels remote. The best part for me was the outdoor seating area, fire pits and great mojitos at the pool bar. A really good mojito is hard to come by and they had one of the best.

This hotel is close to Flatirons Crossing Center which has many shops and places to eat. The hotel itself is very clean and well taken care of. Staff is wonderful and made my wife and I feel like valued guests. Will stay again!

My family spent a one night getaway at the Omni on December 6. We called ahead to reconfirm our res and transportation to the Broomfield Event Center for the HS Musical on Ice show. It turns out that the Event Center is not in their complimentary transportation circuit as was promised by the person I spoke to the previous day. But ... Paul at the concierge desk assured me that they would provide the transportaion regardless. We were greeted in the lobby by Paul and checked in expeditiously even though our res was booked under our first name rather than the last name. We had a very nice room ont he 10th floor and received room service within 15 minutes since we were in a hurry to get to the show The food was very good - and hot!
We spend a very comfortable night in the room and received complimentary morning beverages via room service the next morning along with the Sunday Boulder paper. We then enjoyed a dip in the hot tub and pool then showered and utuilized the spa faciltiies. Only dispointment was the Eucaluptus sauna was out of commission. The staff was very friendly and amenable - especially Paul and Chris who drove us to and from the Event Center. We WILL stay here again and recommend it to all of our friends for a convenient and luxurious weekend getaway.

We stayed at the Omni over the Thanksgiving weekend. Since it's in a business area, the hotel was not crowded, traffic was light and we got a great rate. The lobby is lovely, beds comfy. We especially liked the outdoor pool and the hot tub which was fun to sit in while snow was falling. Be sure to ask for a room with mountain views, the other side is just buildings. It's a little hard to find initially because all of the street names in the area start with 'Interlocken'. We'd definitely stay here again.
