“Oktoberfest”
Reviewed October 9, 2009

We got to experience Oktoberfest in Breckenridge and was not disappointed. The crowd was lively but nice. I have yet to be to an outdoor festival like this, people were respectful, patient and actually threw garbage where it belonged. The selection of German food was amazing on top of some normal food for the less adventurous. Bought a collectable stein, that was well worth the price.

A must if ever in the area for Oktoberfest.

“Great Summer Vacation”
Reviewed October 8, 2009

This Village was a great place to visit in the summer. We stayed by the Golf Course and visited the Downtown everyday. A great place to park the car on one end and walk the City. Many great restaurants, lots of shopping and fun things for the kids. Aside from the Downtown we did biking, hiking, a gold mine tour, auto tour to waterfalls and hot springs. We thought the area was more of a "winter" destination and wouldn't have much going on...we were wrong. We are already making plans to go back next summer!

“My Favorite Little Mountain Town”
Reviewed October 8, 2009

Every year we take a winter trip to Breckenridge, Colorado. It's a beautiful little mountain town about 3 hours from Denver. Lifts lines are usually fast moving if you're into skiing. Breck has so many runs that we never take the same one twice when we visit! My absolute favorite part of Breckenridge is downtown. So many little shops to go to and places to grab a bite to eat. Eric's is one of our favorite places to eat downtown. Also, in the winter they have horse drawn carriage rides. It's a great little town for a romantic get-a-way or an adventure of a life time.

Real old west town.
World class skiing.
Amazing stores in town on Main Street. River walk. Antique shops, art galleries, restaurants, etc.
Easy to get to from Denver (airport) 2 hours!
In the heart of the Colorado Rockies, near the continental divide.

“Just back from a week in Colorado!”
Reviewed August 24, 2009

My husband & I just returned from a week in Colorado. We stayed at Grand Timber Lodge in Breckenridge-nice resort,no complaints, except while checking in, they tried to get us to book a tour of a new timeshare-we firmly stated we'd contact them if we had time-never did. We started in Denver-just spent an afternoon seeing the Capitol & the 16th St mall-had lunch at Wazee Supper Club-great pizza. We went to Red Rocks, had dinner at The Fort-great food-waiter Thomas was very good. One day visited Rocky Mt National Park-took Central City Parkway-thanks to help from Trip Advisor-nice drive approx 3 hrs-the park is beautiful!! One day drove up Pikes Peak & saw Garden of the Gods. Drove Independence Pass to Aspen, saw Maroon Bells, went to Vail. Drove thru Glenwood Canyon-gorgeous, but didn't stay for the springs-husband felt too crowded public pool-not what he expected. Drove over Boreas Pass, spent a day In Breck-did Historical Tour-very interesting-our guide was Ken & his lovely assistant Casey Ann(his dog!).Awesome trip!!!!
