I've never been able to afford a ski-in, ski-out hotel before. These condos really are right by the slope and you can watch the skiiers and the lift lines (there were no lines!) from your room. Also, there was a fabulous giant jacuzzi that my daughter literally swam in. The free shuttle is an excellent service.

Room Tip: Make sure you get Building 3 or 4 with a view of the slopes.

We stayed for 8 nights in Building 4 in a studio. The room was a reasonable size but a strange layout with the bedroom area and storage very small and the bathroom in the middle. The small kitchen was ok for breakfast and a basic evening meal. It was clean and tidy but looking old in some of the fittings. The atmosphere is very dry and the room got hot so we found it difficult to sleep, they have humidifiers but I don't think ours worked. Beaver Run is a very big resort and takes a lot of walking up and down stairs to get to the bars and lobby from Building 4 and out to the ski locker but it is very good for ski in ski out straight onto the lift. There is a large spa pool and lounge at Building 4 which is better than the multiple small tubs in the middle of the resort. There is a shuttle to the village and back but you did feel it was a bit of a trek to go out to the village at night for meals and entertainment and the shuttle did take a while to turn up sometimes. Spencers Restaurant which is meant to be upmarket has a few issues and was just ok. Overall we enjoyed our stay but it was not fantastic.

Room Tip: Choose Building 4 if you want the best ski in ski out but it is further from the bars and lobby

We were here with a couple of friends and decided to stay at Beaver Run based on the location to the mountain. The hotel's storage, location at the base, services for food and free shuttles into town made the stay a great experience. I'm looking forward to coming back!

I was on a conference, haven't been to Breckenridge in several years, even if I live in Colorado, I was there for three nights/four days at the end of the ski season (last weekend) you might think the staff might slack off a little. However, everything was as if it was opening day, excellent room, fantastic amenities in the room and the staff was always there to help you with whatever you needed. If there is a time, and I expect there will be, that I return to Breckenridge for overnight stays or recreation, there will be no other place I would consider staying.

Room Tip: Well I was in 4707 and had a nice balcony and a view of the bottom of the ski slope as well as a nig...

We had a great week at Beaver run resort in Breckenridge. We enjoyed a fantastic apartment with an open fire place and free fire wood. The balcony was very small though. We couldn't even sit out there. We enjoyed the well sized hot tubs, pool and sauna every night. It was very clean and not crowded. The skiing at Breckenridge was fantastic. The best I can remember. There was something for everyone. We enjoyed the gently rolling hills by Peak 7. Lift system was well organized with hardly any queues. The staff helped out minimizing the wait at peak times. Easy to find your way around with clear signs. The independent Peak 9 restaurant was our favourite lunch place. Spencer’s restaurant was nice too. The village was very nice with typical western buildings and cosy atmosphere. Beware of the disgusting sandwiches at Skywalk market deli. The steak sandwich was some greasy processed meat that made us feel sick. Vista Haus looked messy and dirty with food spills on the floor in the kitchen so we didn't eat there. Watch out for clingy condo salesmen by Peak 7. They invite you for a viewing with a free dinner, and then want a $20 deposit. No thanks!

We just spent a spring break week in a suit here. King bed, mini-kitchen and living room with pull out bed and balcony. The rooms were nicely appointed with modern amenities (no DVD player though). They had everything you needed, dishes, pots, wine openers and glasses. They also had things you don't think of until you need them like a humidifier or a fan. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows - lots of pillows and high quality bedding. I was very impressed with the rooms - my son loved the jetted tub. Building 4 was literally just off the hill, ski in/out. It also had an outdoor pool and a very large hot tub and BBQs. Building 3 housed the indoor/outdoor pool and a number of outside little hot tubs - lots of kids there though. You can move about all the buildings without going outside if you like. The free shuttle service around Breck was fantastic! We parked once and never moved the car. The personnel were all very happy to serve you, there was not one person we encountered that did not have a great disposition. We rented skis onsite, used the kids lessons, all were excellent. Even during spring break we were able to do what we wanted when we wanted. I'd go back again and stay here! The location was really nice, you can walk to town if you like or call the shuttle, which arrives in 5 to 15 minutes. We tried the pizza from the grill in the little store on site - it was surprisingly decent. We ate dinner onsite at Spencers which was good but a bit pricey.

Room Tip: If you are a skier - building 4 ski in/out is great. If you have little ones that need lessons - th...
