Allaire Timbers = fun, relaxation, delicious breakfasts and A+ accommodations in the most beautiful setting with awesome mountain views!! It's a bed and breakfast (about 10 rooms; all with mountain views) with an outside hot tub on the deck against a backdrop of the mountains. We just happened to stay on the 1st floor which has an ADA-compliant bathroom - didn't need it but it's nice to know Allaire has at least 1 room like that. Easy walk to town plus there's the free Breckenridge bus system with a stop at the end of Allaire's drive.

Allaire has the best homemade hot breakfasts (typically scrambled eggs and bacon / sausage with hash browns, or French Toast / Pancakes w/ sausage or bacon). And of course the breakfast is included in your nightly rate. Diane and Nancy go out of their way to accommodate you during breakfast and for that matter, throughout the day. There's also a buffet-style continental breakfast spread (bagels, fresh fruit, English muffins, oatmeal, cold cereal, granola, milk, juice, coffee, and hot tea). During the day and evening, the best homemade iced tea, bundt cakes, cookies & breads (along with coffee, hot cocoa & hot tea) are available in the large living / dining area (which has high ceilings, tons of windows & a large fireplace).

The upstairs loft has a wide-screen tv and a nook to hang out in. In a few months (in time for ski season) they're adding a bar area at the end of the large living / dining area and also updating the property in general ~ although it did not obviously look as though it needed a facelift. I loved it just the way it was! I've stayed at high-end resorts and basic hotels (the full range). What's important to me is friendly and outgoing staff, cleanliness, comfortable accommodations (not fancy) and value for the dollar. If you're looking for a Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton, this is probably not the place for you. But if you want a quiet, charming and well-kept inn to enjoy the Rockies, this is the place!! Can't beat the down-to-earth sincerity of the staff and of the setting.

Again, I can't say enough about this special place and the kind individuals who run this "retreat." So friendly and always wanting to help with restaurant suggestions, activities, etc. Also met the nicest people (fellow guests). Thank you to the 2 inn keepers, Worthy & Bond, and to Diane, and Nancy (all the staff) for taking such good care of us! I will keep coming back and back for years to come!!

This is such a fabulous, relaxing, comfortable b&b! It is a beautiful log "home". You do feel like you are at home. Tea is always available, the breakfast is delicious. It so relaxing to sit on your private deck. The suite was great with a hot tub in the room. The outdoor hot tub is a good place to enjoy the view and meet other guests. The innkeeper was very helpful with ideas of things to do or places to eat. She makes you feel welcome. It is in a quiet area but a short walk to town. I highly recommend this b&b!

Please change the bedding.. Very poor quality sheets.. blankets. More like the quality one would find in a Motel 6.Otherwise, very pleasant and convenient.
I could not access the free bus.. schedules never fit.

My husband and I stayed at the Allaire Timbers Inn recently on vacation. Everyone at the Inn was extremely friendly and we felt very welcome. The Inn was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great and we loved that the whole staff had a hand in making breakfast on different days. There were plenty of resources available (ie... hiking, biking guides, etc..) to help us plan our day. The Inn is only a few blocks from downtown Breckenridge - very convenient, even if you wanted to walk into town. We highly recommend Allaire Timbers Inn....we will return for sure.

Great rustic charm & character. The Inn Keepers (Worthy & Bond) were both friendly hospitable, and certainly went the extra mile to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Breakfast was hearty and wholesome. The property seems very environmentally friendly and therefore has ceiling fans and open windows rather than air-conditioning. In high summer our room did get a little stuffy at night, probably not helped buy us choosing a suite with a large hot tub in it (probably great in the winter). Next time we would probably pick a room without a hot tub as the hotel does have a fine communal tub on the lounge balcony if you need a dip.

Room Tip: Rooms with hot tubs can get stuffy when its hot outside.
