We had a week reserved in town at Breck in late January with RCI. I wasn't thrilled with the condo & just 2 days before we left, the wife's mother fell ill. We cancelled the RCI condo & after we knew she'd be O.K., the wife called Gold Point (where we own two summer & fall time shares). We got to stay 4 nights and really enjoyed it. This is a great place about 10,600 ft and a great view of the ski area. We went snowmobiling, a dinner sleigh ride, & just walked through town in a heavy snow storm. It was great to pop into our favorite coffee shop or restaurant on a snowy day.
