Family and friends had dinner here in early March while staying in Breck. We enjoyed a number of different entres between the seven of us. We had two children that were able to have decent choices from a small children's menu. My daughter had the child prime rib and there was enough to feed an adult.
One of my friends had the 16 oz prime rib and there had to be 20 oz plus. The meat was tender and very flavorful. I had the special which was a Buffalo bone-in rib-eye. It was little more well done prepared than I like, but it was very tasty. My wife had a bone in pork chop which was delicious. One interesting note is that they recommended the pork to be medium rare which seemed strange to me.
Keep in mind, much like the big steakhouses, sides are all extra. So if you order a steak, you only get the steak. The sides are reasonably priced and three or four can easily be shared between six or seven people. The mac and cheese side was fantastic!
Overall, I would try the Briar again. The food was good and the service was excellent. You are looking at $50-$75 per person if you add in dessert or a drink.
