“Fun Breakfast Place”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

Columbine Cafe is our go-to place for a weekend breakfast. It's always busy and there's always a wait-but well worth it! Try to get there before 10am. The service is friendly and everybody is so friendly. The pancakes are HUGE and to die for! Have them plain for with chocolate chips or fruit-it's all delicious. The breakfast burrito is delicious! The hashbrowns are yummy (but ask for them to be cooked crispy), great coffee and reasonable prices. The Courtyard Special is a deal-eggs of your choice, meat of your choice, hashbrowns, and 2 pancakes all for $8.95! Get the gourmet coffee!

Just a casual, friendly atmosphere with good, home cooked food! We'll be there for breakfast tomorrow!

Reviewed February 19, 2014

I stopped in for a quick lunch while kids were on the mountain. Friendly waiter, suggested the omelette and it was great!

“Hit the spot”
Reviewed February 16, 2014 via mobile

We were hungry and looking for a place with a good selection that we could get into, and after being told there'd be a 45 minute wait at another place that had been recommended, found we could get right in here. Each of us found something good -- their homemade corned beef hash was unlike any I've had before. And the service was very good as well -- delightful waiter :-)

“Great Breck Breakfast”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

Based on T.A. reviews, we made a point of eating at the Columbine Cafe and we were very glad we did. We had no wait late on a Friday morning. Impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. The menu is large with a complete variety of breakfast items and beginning at 11 a.m., you can order breakfast or lunch. I ordered a cappuccino (perfect!) and the corned beef hash (CBH), which is their speciality: chunky applewood-smoked brisket with seasoned potatoes. Serving is large for a reasonable price and included eggs, hash browns or grits, and toast or biscuit. Hubby ordered the CBH Benedict, which he also enjoyed. We liked the rustic, cabin feel and the easy-going, pleasant ambiance. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

“Excellent eggs benedict”
Reviewed February 1, 2014 via mobile

I looked for a place to sit down and have brunch. Ordered eggs benedict which I was just desperate about. It was just terrific - eggs, sause, hash brown.... Mñam!
Very careful and care taking service came as a bonus. Good job guys !!!!
The only thing is that the cafe is not located dirctly on the Main st., you have to walk about 8 meters into the backyard. But you do not miss the sign on the street, don't worry
