Emma and Niels keep a great B&B (clean, comfy rooms and areas, great breakfast and home made cookies in the evening). Their advise on where to eat, and places to stop during our trip through Colorado, were a great help (the scenic roads through the mountains and parks are a must see/drive, from Eagle county to border with Utah). We enjoyed so much their place and town, that we also stayed again during our return to Denver to fly back home. Thank you for making our trip even better (I enjoyed playing with your dog Jade), Memo Lopez

We stayed in the Panoramic room. The bed was comfy, we enjoyed the sitting area, LOVED our little balcony, AND the beautiful view. We were close enough to town to walk to most things and the innkeepers provided us great ideas for the first evening while we were getting our bearings. The food was great, we enjoyed afternoon treats, choices for breakfast, and the kitchenette and refrigerators.

They also emailed traffic updates for our day of travel, and kept us well informed regarding our trip. Lovely people and attentive service.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time staying at the Abbett Placer Inn. Neils and Emma were extremely helpful and full of great advice. We stayed in the Romantic Nook which, although small, was comfortable and cozy and fit our needs. Getting to the mountain was SO easy - the gondola was a short (< 5 minutes) free bus ride from the stop right across from the Inn. They have a separate storage space for you to keep your skis. The Inn is also only a few short blocks from many shops, bars and restaurants.

All that alone would have made for a good stay, but the delicious baked goods and breakfasts served by Emma and Niels were a definite bonus! We also loved soaking in the hot tub after long days of skiing.

My wife and I stayed at the Romantic Nook, the room fulfilled all of our needs even though it is a bit snug, the bed was very comfortable and all the amenities we needed were there. The common areas were comfortable, well maintained and very functional.

We met great people at the Inn, we could always find someone to talk to during breakfast and afternoon tea and also ask them what ever doubt we had about the town, the mountain, skiing, etc… The place is very well located, all the restaurants and places to visit are at a walking distance and the free bus stop is almost in front of the Inn.

Emma & Niels go beyond their way to help and make the stay at the Inn as pleasant and enjoyable as possible, all the food we had was great.

If we ever go back to Breck we would definitely stay there.

Room Tip: If you travel lightly the romantic nook is perfect for 2, big suitcases tend to occupy much of the s...

Other than a few issues, noted in the previous review, we had an awesome time on our visit. The house was spotless. The breakfast was delicious with nice choices, and the afternoon tea time with homemade goodies was always something to look forward to. Having to drink a lot of water, there was always fresh water available. Perfect location to town, with bus stops right out the door.

This review is coming from two best friends, mature, responsible, professional women, who have traveled to many places in our lifetime. Hopefully, all our Tripadvisor comments will help to make our stays more pleasant. Our trip to Breckenridge, even our stay at that little bed & breakfast, will always be memorable!

Unfortuanatley, due to personal circumstances we were unable to complete our trip to the Abbett Placer Inn yet I must say how helpful and understanding Emma and Niels were. I do hope that one day we get to go and can only imagine the hospitality being second to none.

It was kind of creepy, after leaving for an evening dinner, we returned to find...they had entered our room! Our TV was turned off (we leave it on low for security). One suitcase was on the floor, along with a nasty note, beginning with "LADIES", telling us to keep it off the furniture or they will charge for any damage. With a bad back, I was not happy lying on the floor to get something from my suitcase. After moving it to the sofa, the next day it was magically moved back to the floor. If a luggage stand for each guest was provided, we would not have had this issue. Also, our privacy should have been respected!!!!!!!!
Returning to the room at 11:00pm, we realized we left our keys in the room. A guest was nice enough to let us in, but we had to make the dreaded call to Neills to let us enter our room. That experience was like waiting for your parents to come give you a spanking!
Regarding the "NO SHOES POLICY", we did get a big fussing from Emma as one of us forgot something, and ran to our room with clean shoes on! Make sure to keep your shoes off ♥

Room Tip: Peaks Panorama was spotless, beds very comfortable. Bathroom tiny with no water pressure in the sho...
