Pine Ridge Condominiums

Check-in staff were friendly and efficient and the process was straightforward.
We stayed in 7B and were very impressed by the size of the condo. We had a large living space with a fully equipped kitchen plus washing machine and dryer. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the two bathrooms were more than we needed for two people, but meant no waiting for the shower!
The property is just a short walk to Main St.
The bus stop, to either the Snowflake lift or Beaver Run, is just outside, and skiing/boarding back at the end of the day via the Four O'clock run is simple and convenient.
We've been coming to Breckenridge for many years and stayed in lots of good apartments; this is another we'd happily return to.

We went to this Condo complex over President's Day Weekend and booked a 2 bedroom condo through Expedia for $399/night. We had some friends that booked a 2 bedroom condo 2 days after we did for $399/night as well, but directly from the Pine Ridge website. Being an Expedia Elite Plus member, I was confident we would get a much nicer room through Expedia than our friends that booked directly. After all, I am Elite Plus Expedia member who books a lot of hotel nights through Expedia!

Upon arriving before our friends, we checked into Unit 8A with the name Peterson on the front door. When we walked in, we were horrified to see dated furniture from the 1970's, old formica countertops, and old appliances. Then we made it to the bedrooms, oh no ! The "Master Suite" had a Full Bed (we sleep on a Queen at home, so yes, we know if its smaller than our mattress at home, it's a Full). The pillows were all pancake-flat. All for the bargain price of $400/night). I went to the office to express my disappoinment at the room, but of course they were full and couldnt move us. I wonder how many of these people were Expedia Elite? It might be even worse if you were just a regular Expedia user. Wow. Just Wow. I travel a lot for work, and this was Marriott prices for an Econo Lodge room.

Then our friends check in to unit 12B across the street. Their unit was bigger, updated furniture, granite countertops, stainless appliances, and more square footage. They also had a King Bed. All for the same $399/night, booking a few days after me, checking in after us. I was floored.

So yes there are some nice rooms at Pine Ridge. But, if you book through Expedia or another booking site, you will obviously get the shaft because the Condo owners must make less on their rentals, so they book you in rooms they normally can't rent out, which are the awful ones. I booked mine first, checked in first, paid the same rate, but used Expedia. Apparently that was a bad decision, so next time I will use Expedia to shop for rooms then book direct.

Breckenridge is awesome though! Thank goodness!!!

This is the 4th time that my wife and I have stayed at Pine Ridge. We have skiied all over the world and this is quite simply the best accommodation we have had anywhere.

The condos are spacious and very comfortable with all the required amenities including free WiFi.

The location is perfect, only a 5 minute walk to Main Street and some of Breckenridge's best restaurants. The bus to Peak 9 stops outside the condos and in the afternoon we ski out via the Four O'Clock run, a three and a half mile run from the top of Peak 8.

The condo was very roomy, clean and had everything we needed! There were two large hot tubs on site, there was a lift about 300 yards up the hill, we could ski right back home on the Four o'Clock run, we were about 300 yards from main street, there was a shuttle stop by the property and a ski rental place on the property. The staff was great and check-in and check-out were a breeze. We got all of this at a fair price! We are very pleased!

We were a little bummed out to find twin beds in the second bedroom and to find that check-in was at 4pm and check-out was at 10am. However, we had a great time and would DEFINATELY stay here again!

Second time in Breckenridge and first time to stay in Condominium. Conveniently located, spacious living room with fire place, a rental ski shop and Free Ride bus stop is on the compound, and only a few minutes walk to Main Street with great restaurants. Very reasonable than staying at the hotel, especially in a group of 4 and more!

Have stayed here twice now. Excellent both times. It is always very clean. Spacious rooms. Plenty of cooking utensils. Free firewood. Easy wifi. Very friendly staff. Can ski or snowboard down the four o clock run to the condo (doesn't get too flat). Will certainly stay here again in the future.

We stayed in unit 9A which is a spacious 2 bedroom apartment. The complex is handy to Main street and the free local bus services to get you up the mountain. The price of the complex is reasonable and we found that staff were attentive and very helpful (eg. arrived to find door wouldn't lock & stove not working) both fixed very quickly.

We liked the ground floor as easy access, however it had the downfall of hearing noise from people using stairs -shouting to each other (see next paragraph as to why).

In January there were bus loads of college kids staying who were very noisy at night time and even spilt drinks and other unmentionables from their balconies onto our balcony - which is far from pleasant when you have young kids.

We were very comfortable staying here, but probably not like to return if lots of college kids there at same time as us.

Room service if staying more than 7 days is: change of towels on 3rd day and full clean on the 7th - so haven't commented on room service category.
