My friend "won" a cheap trip to stay here. She got a two bedroom suite and it was perfect. They have a shuttle that takes you to Main Street or the slopes- that was the best thing. The only sort of weird thing is that since it's a timeshare, housekeeping doesn't clean your room daily. My friend and her hub sat through the timeshare sales pitch and said it was not too bad.

Dear CrystalAnn56,
Thank you for providing this great review regarding your recent stay at the Grand Timber Lodge! We are so happy to hear you were pleased with the unit you stayed in and that you got to take advantage of our complimentary shuttle. And yes, you are correct that our cleaning procedures are slightly different because it is a timeshare property and most of our guests are owners. We do provide daily services upon request however. We hope that overall you enjoyed your time here with us and we look forward to having you back again!
Sincerely,
Michelle

We've been staying there for our fall ski camp for 4 years now and we love it. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are great. Our camps are at Loveland but it's worth the 1/2 hour drive to stay in Breckenridge.

We had a two bedroom suite that was very nice. The facility is excellent and we enjoyed spending the week in the area. We would definitely go again. Everything is quite convenient and well maintained.

GTL was a lovely place and the employees are most helpful. The pools, hot tubs, steam room were all working well, perfect way to end the day after hitting the slopes. The rooms are well-equipped. The studio is fine for a couple, but go for a 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom if you have the whole family. The location of GTL is so close to the slopes, can ski in/ski out, rented our equipment from Christy's on site, they took good care of us and it is so convenient, AND they offer 20% discount coupon. Definitely would go back, especially the week after Thanksgiving, which I understand is the calm before the storm...Breck will be busy in another week and will be through March!

Room Tip: Recommend not getting a room in the main building facing the pool, can be noisy with children swimming.

The staff and the facilities are top notch very clean and well kept. Shuttle service is very convenient. The only drawback is the temperature control in the room the room gets very hot and the only way to get it cooler is by opening the windows or doors. Besides that a solid resort with very attentive and pleasant staff from the bell staff to the front desk.

Dear rpo,
We are pleased to hear you enjoyed many different elements of your stay such as our friendly staff and the courtesy guest shuttle. We are sorry to hear that the temperature in your unit was a little difficult to control. Often if other units around yours are either using their fireplace or have their thermostat set high it can cause the surrounding units to be warm too which is why we normally suggest opening up the windows and letting in the cool mountain air. Thank you very much for your review and we hope to see you again if you come back to visit Breckenridge!
Sincerely,
Michelle
